Was impressed by Tremmel when he had a little run in the swansea team recently. Seems like a bit of a character too. Obviously to be 2nd or 3rd choice though.

I'd like Hangeland to replace Gallas, apart from that, Walcott would be the only other.

Out of the ones that are realistically gettable, none of them.

The unrealistic: Walcott would be a good addition to the squad to play either wide or central. He's getting on a bit now, and a total ****, but I would also probably take a certain LB on that list as well. Ferdinand I would also consider for the experienced CB role but he is maybe a year or two too old now to look to bring in.

I've got a better game, what's the worst full team you can make out of that lot?

I just don't see anything there. It's a very "meh" list. Keeping Gallas would seem to be the best option

This is my worst team.

Fabianski
Philippe Senderos, Titus Bramble, Sebastien Squillaci
Kieron Dyer, Emmanuel Frimpong, Rory Delap, Gary O’Neil
Freddie Piquionne, Xisco, Luke Moore

Im sure there probably is a worse team but there are just some names I haven't heard of before, so I've ignored them.

Hilario
Elliot Ward - Piscu - Kilgallon - Winston Reid
Gower - Popov - Gunnarson - Shotton
Simon Church - Callum McManaman

I reckon this shit team would lose heavily to your shit team. They've got about 10 Premier League appearances between them :)

I'd take Frimpong and Toure to replace Parker and Gallas. We should also try to get Walcott (wages permitting) as I'm not convinced any bigger teams than us will be sniffing around him.

You're joking, right?

The only thing he can do is Frimpong people. Yes, that's a thing.

Not enthusiastic about Kolo Toure either, and I'm sure Walcott will sign a new deal eventually once he realises that he won't have it better anywhere else than where he is now.

I wouldn't take anybody from there bar Hangeland, and that's only if we suddenly find ourselves short of centre-backs.

All fair points as I would rather be buying Holtby, Willian, Leandro and Moutinho etc which is what I expect us to do (or at least try!), my view is based on the squad as it currently is.

If it was to stay as it is I think Frimpong is worth a punt if he's free.
There aren't many players who are happy to run around and kick people anymore and if AVB can just control him a bit I think he'd be worth replacing Parker who does a more controlled version of what Frimpong does. Sandro, Frimpong, and Dembele in a middle 3 would be able to compete away to City/Stoke etc.
He'd only be coming in as 4th or 5th choice so not much of a gamble.

Toure is at the end of his career but he's probably 3 or 4 years younger than Gallas so would be a like-for-like replacement. And, again, he would be rotated as 4th/5th choice.

And I agree with you about Walcott but you have to be in it to win it.

As a result we could replace two ageing players with a much younger one and a slightly younger one with no real financial implication.

Frimpong was quoted few years ago something along the lines of he would only leave Arsenal if he was dragged out (not sure exact terminology) he's Arsenal through and through and wouldn't come to Spurs.

That aside, I would have to disagree and wouldn't want him at our club... He's a moron.

Walcott on the other hand...

Chris brunt.

That may be national pride on my part. Distinct lack of northern Irish players at spurs. One would be nice. Also his delivery can be amazing. He is never on the same wave length in international matches with his team mates but that's not his fault IMO, its usually cause the rest are pretty awful (apart from Steven Davis), so he often gets frustrated. You can see he is a very good player in a bad team. For free and not much In wages, I think he could work.

I think Puncheon looks a good player too.it's hard to tell if he would be good enough for us but for free, worth a chance.

Yeah the few times I've seen him he looks dangerous and would make a good impact player - he's certainally not "terrible" as someone put it - but I was surprised by his age thought he was a bit younger

Brunt is also a terrific player

Walcott best of the lot, but can't see him doing a Judas
