In short - When you're one -nil up and dominating - your priority is to get it to two-nil.
End of sermon. Not complicated and something, an attitude that AVB needs to install into the team pretty pronto.
Lesson learnt? I hope so.

Hardly considering we've conceeded silly goals in 2 of our 3 home PL games this season.

You don't win at old Trafford if you are a shit side. Enough said.
Well it seems this post is exactly the attitude the players might have had for tonight's game.

You don't win games or dominate games because you're just better, you have to work and exert yourself on the opposition.

No one's said we're a shit side anyway, so I don't get this post at all.

That was dire. The atmostphere, the opposition, our players with no urgency = drab drab affair.

My only worry is that in all the games i have managed to see, everything seems to be quite slow and laboured with us. There have been a few moments of brilliance and speedy attacking, but not too often imo. I put the down to new manager/players etc, but id like to see some more flair if i can player the petulant, i want everything kinda spurs fan.

For fucks sake will some people calm down? It was a shit performance away in Europe. How many of those did we have last season?

Stop fucking bitching and slagging people off. Its annoying, but not the end of the world.

We'll be much much better than that against Villa. Guaranteed.

You do know we got knocked out europe in group stages last year?

Hopefully people will now stop saying Huddlestone and Dawson should be in our starting eleven. No surprise given tonights performance that Dawson was nearly sold and Huddlestone loaned out in the summer.

with attitude like yours we might as well call off season now..

spurs win at old traford .. big fucking deal.. we won that match 5 days ago or whatever it was...we enjoyed it , players enjoyed it but if anyone is worth their salt at spurs they would have let players know where they stand since then... if we have or had good players then that game should be completely out of minds now and pushing on.. one win doesnt make a season but it would be typical spurs to lose to villa after beating united away.

Did we lose? Are we out of Europe? The WTF is the drama about? Everyone's behaving like Panathinikos are some semi-amateur side. they aren't. The are gritty but with flowing football to boot. 1-1 was a fair result. We are unbeaten in 6. I can't complain.

Feels like a total waste picking close to our strongest team for that shite. I understand that we want to take this cup seriously but surely just an extra couple of changes might have freshened things up and added a little more urgency? I had been looking forward to seeing Townsend and Sigurddson start as they might at least have felt that they had something to play for. Most of those on the pitch tonight looked as though they were merely trying to conserve energy for the weekend.

I really truly hope that this doesn't bite us on the butt come Sunday. Under Lambert Villa are at their strongest away from home, and they will be extremely well prepared tactically (recall the Norwch loss last season). It is going to be a very tough game and should we go into it with the sort of lethargy that we saw in the QPR match that followed our previous Europa excursion then we'll be in trouble. After the breakthrough at Old Trafford it would be such a setback for us to lose our momentum so soon after.

Bloody hell. We've gone from demi-gods to utter shite in the space of three days. people need to chill on here. We are two points off being top in the group so we could be there after the next game, the players won't be tired, we're still unbeaten in Europe, this was an away trip to greece and we know how tough those teams can be. Seriously let's have some perspective here. We're in a better position than Shitty :)

They was not a team, just 11 meat shields

Mate do you seriously expect us to win EVERY game? We didn't lose tonight. just take a big breath. The fans in Greece applauded Spurs yet people on here are behaving as if its doomsday to the power of ten.
