Hasn't really done a single thing of note in all of his appearances for us. Seems a similar player to Alli...just not as good.

I Had a shitty stream and missed the last few minutes, but I don't think he was shit and he showed glimpses of why he is considered as promising. Needs games and he'll come good.

Onomah is not ready for the league matches it`s so obvious... I think had we brought on Son we could have won the game today..
I don`t know if Poch is trying to prove a point but it was a strange substitution that some of these kids are ahead of guys like Wimmer Chadli and Son ...

I do like Edwards and think maybe he has the skill to make an impact off the bench

He is a 19 year old kid, who our manager clearly rates. He sees him every day in training, he isn't gonna set the world on fire right now. Give the lad time, and for christ sake get off his back.

I agree, the kid is gonna be something,he played for a few minutes yesterday.

Its not his fault that some of our players go missing.

Oduwa is average.
Oduwa isn't average, he just needs guiding but of course please tell me how much of him you have seen of him

Oduwa is miles better than Onomah when playing further forward

With Onomah if it was a different manager you would think he would be sending a message to the people above to say these guys aren't ready and that we need more signings

He'll never produce any quality if only getting a fleeting ten minutes here and five minutes there.

Same for Winks.

Everytime I've seen onomah I come to the same conclusion, to me it looks like he lacks the technical ability and spark to succeed in the first team. Maybe I am completely wrong, but I haven't seen anything to convince me.

I thought he added quite a lot of energy today when he came on. The offside was infuriating in a very dangerous position, but mistakes like that are to be expected with a young player. Seems like Poch really rates him, because he's getting plenty of first team exposure.

I've watched josh play up a few years a few years ago, against chalks youth and most of them were very big and powerful lads. and josh kinda single handedly, managed to keep them at bay and produce some great creative forward possession, and scored also. a very talented boy. just needs a run of games, and some clear instructions. during his youth days he was deployed in centre mid, and would manage to support the attack, as well as cover his defensive duties.
time is what the young man needs. lol

I've seen enough of him to know he won't make if at Spurs, you don't need to be an avid watcher of youth football to know that.

Out of interest, what did you make of Kane when he got the odd appearance as sub a few years ago?

If he looked abit more up for it may help....

I hope he proves me wrong, but like the likes of Caulker, who i said was not good enough and got shitloads of neg rep...Onomah imo, will not make it with us.He has absolutely nothing about him to make me think otherwise.
Edwards,KWP,Winks on the other hand all look so exciting.

Onomah is a CM who is playing out of position in short cameo appearances.

He is 19 and has huge talent and will show that when he plays in his proper position.

Playing out of position is hard at the best of times let alone for a youngster trying to establish himself.

Kane has looked poor as an AM. Bale was a poor LB. Even Modric didn't look great when played as an LM.

So how about a bit of patience and reserve judgment until Josh has been given a fair chance.

Whats the point of a football forum if we can't discuss what we think of players.

He is only 19, yes, but comes on when the game is stretched, is fresh and young, and still can;t effect the game at all, irrelevant of where he is playing, he does almost zero.....so he is not ready or not good enough.

I hope i am wrong, and in the ground i support and back him...but i am totally unconvinced.

Have to agree with this. We've seen him enough times now to form an opinion. To me it seems obvious he needs a loan move. Only way to give him the needed experience of playing at this level

I like Oduwa I think he is more suited to higher level games when he would probably get more space. His pace and skill would be a threat would rather have seen him come on yesterday than Onomah who I think is quite a safe player and does not look like creating anything..

Personally I am happy to give hi time but I don`t want him coming on against Liverpool at 1-1 with 10 mins to go... I honestly think that substitution could have cost us.. Edwards and Oduwa are better attacking impact subs due to skill and pace..
