I would of felt the same if Soldado had gone through on goal... That there's absolutely no way he's scoring here.

That's not a good thing.

Am I the only 1 thinking WTF was he so slow and tired looking when he had that 1v1 chance? He was a few yards ahead of their last defenders yet by the time he got close to the goal he was crowded off the ball..How the heck does someone so fresh into the game look so slow and tired?

He didnt do great in his 15mins for someone who has a lot to prove imo. Very disheartening!

It was obvious that he thought he was offside (which he was) and so hesitated, expecting the whistle.

It's clear that Poch has realised that Sissoko playing in his natural position, as a marauding CM, running through the middle, is a very good option to change and can have a good impact on the game.

In the past Poch tried to use him out on the wing and be struggled. This season he's played through the middle and has impressed, giving us strength and power, things that our first choice CMs don't offer.

Agreed but also running with the ball agaisnt 2 players without it is always hard unless you are literally blistering quick and going in a straight line and he was running diagonally.

Shame he didn't score but people forget the things he offered when he came on like winning Ariel balls and being physical which when you're protecting a 3-1 lead are vital.

I'm going to counter that - All good attacking players (in fact every player) should play to the whistle, and especially if you;re attacking, you attack on goal until you hear the whistle. Afaic its a poor excuse to say he thought he was offside. You should still play to the whistle.
I'll add to that, if one of our defenders thought the attacker was offside so he stopped, would you give the defender more leeway for not playing to the whistle? No... You would berate him for not playing to the whistle and letting a player score just cos he thought the player was offside.
So same applies to attackers too imho.

What i do completely agree with you on, is that yes, Poch has accepted he's better in the middle and he clearly is. But still not good enough...

Did you see how far he ran before and after he laid the ball off to Eriksen?

Obviously not.

He might not have much going for him but I'm sure he is among the most athletic in the squad.

Of course I saw him. But that doesnt mean he ran a marathon to justify being that tired and slow... He only sprinted from one end of the pitch to the other 1 time. Jan made the same runs multiple times.. So are you saying Jan is and should be fitter than Moussa? Especially since Jan would have been more tired one would think. Surely Moussa should have been capable of staying in front of those defenders to get a decent strike on goal as he was more fresher after only just coming on.
In fact dont even compare him to just Jan, compare him to any of the other 9 outfield players.

I am totally disgusted by so call spurs fans on twitter blaming Sissoko for the draw yesterday when he created the two best chances of the game for Son and Kane and actually played pretty well.

There were 9 other outfield players apart from Sissoko. He's obviously not a WB but he played "solid" rather than spectacular. His shooting is terrible though.
No one slams Aurier (who I reckond had a good game) when - at the end of the game - was alone with the goalie and all he managed was to toe a weak shot far to the side. If he had looked up there was a better placed (Spurs) player to his left (I think Dele, but not sure).

Everyone's shooting was terrible yesterday, so many shit shots it's incredible that they are professional footballers.

It`s how many people on twitter claim to be fans but don`t go to the game or watch it live then just slag the certain players off because it is popular

The rose tinted brigade are out in full force in this thread !!!

He was a bad player when he joined, he was a bad player last season, and he has been a bad player this season.

He isn't very good at football!!!! He is a good athlete, with a moderate work rate, and the touch of a rapist.

Just accept, it's fine. Confirmation bias isn't going to help you here. He will never be a success.

Sorry but can we please stop saying this, it's a bloody horrible saying. Fucks sake.

Thought he was poor on Saturday (and that's from watching him in the stadium, not on TV).
He's cumbersome, and seems to question his own decision making, presumably through lack of confidence.
There were moments in the first half where Tripper over-lapped and the pass seemed obvious, but Sissoko dilly-dallied with the ball and then lost it.
Should have been subbed off at half-time rather than be stuck out as the right WB option.
Certainly wouldn't blame him solely for Saturday's result, but he was an equal contributor.

Will be interesting to see if he plays tomorrow. If he does, and plays crap in that, then surely his time is up.

Agreed, I apologise. My sentiment is the same. He can't control a football for toffee, and he has nearly had two of our players get their leg broken with hospital balls in the last two games. He has had 30 appearances, and his best performance amounted to getting in lots of good positions against Everton and nausing them up every single time.

He is the prime example of why I barely post anymore on this website, because it's not a discussion board, it's a Spurs love in. At least 30% of people cannot see the wood for the trees.

Pound for pound, at 30 bar, he is one of our worst ever signings, and you really have to wonder what people watch.

Then you get idiots saying things like, "These people that moan don't watch every game" I've missed 1 since he has been at the club. I've seen the horror show in all it's glory.

He has to go - should only get near this team if we have multiple injury issues in midfield, hardly seen him do anything worthwhile in a Spurs shirt in quite a few minutes of playing time!
