He played the ball to Rose that gave us the winner. For me he did his job yesterday when he came on which is great! But I am also not going to get carried away and say he is all of a sudden a starting 11 member because I just don't see 90 minutes of him being all that effective. As I stated in the transfer window he is a good bench/squad player for sub appearances at best and yesterday was a good example of that.

But please people don't act like yesterday was some worldy performance. His pass to Rose was simple, if he botched that this board would have a different tone. His long field cross to Son I believe near the end of the game on a counter was also something he had to do. A simple flighted ball that 99% of professional footballers should be able to hit.

So in short yes he helped us yesterday so good on him. But be weary of those saying he should start cause people, this is the Sissoko that has been playing in the PL for years. 90 minutes of him week in and week out will leave you asking for more heroin.

It's quite simple - He's providing more than Son at the moment which is why he should start, I'm not here to score points, i'd rather we go with what's best for the team.

...Sissoko easily walks into the squad way ahead of Lamela atm...
...the haters are oddly quiet...
COYS

I make you spot on, if lamela's injured it'll be a laboured walk whilst the non injured sissoko will walk easily

Great to see Charlie Adams thought his challenge was red???
Looked obvious his foot was high but he was trying NOT to make contact as apposed to Adams always deliberately trying to injure players.

Why is that rock-eating, ugly, spud-headed **** doing punditry anyway? I can't imagine anybody I'd want to hear talk about football less. Him casting aspersions on other players' challenges is tantamount to Josef Fritzl delivering parenting tips.

He's one of those players that is much better than he looks.

I think we all overreacted and Pochettino basically knows more than about football than us, which is good.

I thought he had the best movement of the front 4 tonight.. his anticipation & reading of where the ball would break was good.. he done well tonight...

Yep he's certainly getting better, weight of pass and decision making is improving, first touch needs a bit of work though. Certainly making people look a little foolish when they wrote him off a couple of months ago.

I thought he looked really good tonight. Seem's to have a burst of pace that we were lacking at times. The only gripe i have on him is his inability to shoot/header on goal at the right opportunity. He had a great chance to head it on goal but headed it across. Was unselfish of him but needs to be a bit more ruthless. That said another assist and also assisted our penalty to.
