Amazing how bad his touch is. It must be at least partially due to confidence, he can't have had the career he's had and be this bad.
When just dont embarrass yourself is the best you can hope for its time to go lol.
Watched the match highlights. The guy needs to go.
Not only is his first touch truly atrocious for someone who gets paid to play football, the thing that got me was his reaction following both goals. All the other players were smiling and celebrating. His body language spoke volumes - didn't smile, barely celebrated. Clearly has not changed at all since his Newcastle days. Have to cut our losses
His work rate and positioning today were fine. He is a big lad and hard to contain. But his first touch and distribution need a lot of work. In my mind he is a CM and he keeps getting pushed wide. I suppose in Poch's system he likes players to be multi-dimensional on the pitch.
There is a very good player in there somewhere. I don't know if it Ismail confidence, lack of focus or lack of playing time, nut he needs to improve and be ready when he comes on. Janssen is in the same boat.
I dont think Sissoko is an embarassment. I think some fans in this thread is an embarassment. If you do not cheer on, support and get behind a player, you have no bloody right to demand anything from them. Unless you paid fully for their transfer fee or wages.
This misses the point entirely.
He's basically stealing a living from what I have seen of all of his performances in a Spurs shirt.
It's not often Lavy gets mugged but Ashley did him over good and proper. I'm still staggered we paid £30m for him. I'd be pissed if we'd paid £10m for him. He's fucking dreadful.
