The foundations that the club, poch ect have layed down thus far are truly going to be tested this season i fear. Im not so sure things are going to well this coming season. Alot of f***** off fans including myself.
What’s that old saying? ... you’re only as good as your last win
Just hope whatever position we end up in at the end of the season, nobody better fucking dare to point a finger at Poch and Blame the manager
Or how we would have won the league if we had bought one player. One thing's for certain: If we finish in the top four again, nobody will be on here praising Levy for not paying vastly over the odds for the likes of Zaha and Grealish. They'll be too busy banging on about the next shiny new thing we should be buying.
Being banned from the fun all summer has made me more positive! Not being able to complain about a lack of ambition readjusts ones priorities. Big shout out to the leadership for locking me out and making me a bit sunnier
I think we really need a bit of real quality in reserve for the really big games, as we cannot rely on Kane,Dele and Eriksen all the time (eg FACUP semi final last year). At very least I was really hoping for Grealish as I think he would be a good signing (there is still time I hope!). I think we will struggle to hit top 4 this year, but I think Moura might come through and surprise a few people.Out of curiosity - do people think that we can better break down defensive teams next season without having signed anyone? Was it more of a personnel issue, a coaching issue or does Poch need to be more flexible and decisive with subs?
All of the above.Out of curiosity - do people think that we can better break down defensive teams next season without having signed anyone? Was it more of a personnel issue, a coaching issue or does Poch need to be more flexible and decisive with subs?
How can anyone find a positive in standing still while all those around us strengthen, and if we do not have a successful season who do you think will take the blame. Pochettino or Levy.
Agree with all of that. The more I read about Grealish, the more keen I was on us signing him.I think we really need a bit of real quality in reserve for the really big games, as we cannot rely on Kane,Dele and Eriksen all the time (eg FACUP semi final last year). My real worry is that Poch, Kane etc might feel that they have reached their ceiling here and move on, as it will take us a long time to get back to where we are now. I really think Levy should have been bolder in the transfer market in the past and we might have had a league title by now when a lot of the other top teams were in disarray. It is going to be very difficult now without some real investment, which is why eventually I think we will get taken over.
