The point is why is there not the option to buy just the one game instead of being forced to buy the whole package.
I guess that's the point of a subscription, pretty much the same way that Peacock won't allow me to buy just a single game or only Tottenham games, but instead forces me to pay for their otherwise completely worthless (and pretty shit) streaming service.

I had peacock last year and only watched it for Tottenham games, and they didn't show all of those live. I think Spurs Play is a pretty good deal at a low price point, but of course that's just my opinion.

Thanks

nowhere did I say they were asking for 45 for one preseason friendly. What I said that in order to watch that one game I had to buy the yearly subscription, which costs 45, and I don’t want a yearly subscription just the ability to watch that one game.
You said “why would I [pay £45] to watch 1 preseason friendly”. Well you’re going to the wrong place to watch it then. You may as well say “why are they asking £100 for this tasting menu when all I want is a starter?”. They aren’t expecting you to pay £45 for a friendly.

Not sure what you mean. They'll show all competitive matches. If you mean live, then no. My concern is that I want to be able to watch all the games "live" to me (delayed without me knowing the score).

Crikey, its only a couple of quid a month. If you're not fussed just watch the highlights on Youtube afterwards.

I've been watching the Legends shorts. They also have The Lane documentary, which every Spurs fan should watch.

I know some fans want to try and use the PL full match replays on Spursplay without knowing the score but not sure it's feasible for the club to try and hide any reference to the match score on the app or main website . They will want to headline post match interviews with goalscorers etc which will be posted on the app & website hours before the match replay is available .
For example first PL match v Southampton finishes at approx. 4.50 PM UK time, the full match replay will not be available at the earliest until midnight UK time on Spursplay , that's seven hours of avoiding any football news !!!!! even a longer wait for an early Saturday/Sunday kick off time.

Looking forward to todays coverage of Rangers game , especially who has made the trip to Glasgow.

Well you didn't make that really clear enough to say "of course". I don't know whether you live in the UK or elsewhere but it makes a huge difference whether the match will be screened a couple of hours later, or a day or so later. For those of you in the UK I appreciate it's going to be hard sticking your fingers in your ears avoiding hearing the result for more than a couple of hours. Over to you Spursplay.

Our posts sort of crossed. The Club has intimated that they're sympathetic here and may well suggest a good solution.

Club may be able to do it , best to check out with Liverpool or Man U fans what happens on their TV channels as they were showing full match replays last season and are they able to hide any news of the score or post match interviews

Well we know the real reason it’s a yearly subscription price as opposed to monthly…

If it was monthly, a lot of people would just pay for 1 or 2 months to watch the pre season games.

Aren't Spursplay also showing youth games? I haven't subscribed yet but I'm pretty tempted because the content throughout the year will pro ably be well worth 45 quid.

Not overly arsed about the pre-season games because apart from the excitement of seeing our new toys, there's not usually much to learn from them.
Seeing plenty of youth games however, would be well worth the money.

Spurs Play is a great initiative by the club. If you want to see the friendlies, it's well worth the money, for most anyway.
Appreciate some people are really struggling financially. But most people over 16 spend four pounds a month at least on alcohol, smoking, nights out etc. So then it's a question of priorities.

For tight asses who don't want to subscribe to Spurs tv you can pay as a one of on Rangers tv I believe - I have no idea how much it costs though

Have to say I am bit torn on the Spurs TV stuff generally not overly fussed watching pre season friendlies but I would quite enjoy the reserve and youth games just that generally the youths in particular are on at bad times for me and I am not going to sit through a recording of a youth game that said 3 quid a month don't seem a bad deal compared to some of the rubbish I pay out for
