Walker 6 - Made an error for goal, but equally got assist
If you watch the re-play - it was not Walker who made the error. He was backing up, while Winks was tackling the ball. Winks won the ball, but then made a weak pass to Walker - who was still backing up, and it left him hung out to dry. The pass was not strong enough to reach Walker, and Walker could not switch directions quickly enough to come get the pass.

Winks did well to tackle the ball, but it was his errant pass to Walker that set the goal in motion.

ETA - and then to add insult to injury, Walker recovered and forced the ball out wide, where unfortunately it was wink who played the ball, unintentionally, back into the middle

So rose was good but for me winks was motm. Its easy for people to get carried away with this guy but today hecwas everywhere. Its a shame he was giving it to alli and dembele. He often tried a give and go with them but the ball hardly ever returned and when it did it was after he had made a run and had to check back after the ball wasnt played

thought the same that Winks deserved some blame, but Walker should have just put his foot through the ball.

I think he could have - but Walker recovered from that, and actually forced the ball out wide again - but Winks could not get out of the way of the ball, so he accidentally played it back into the middle.

Our attacking players waste so many opportunities because they refuse to pass to each other and only care about scoring the goal themselves.

Literally no cohesion to our attacking play at all.

I thought we started brightly and then the goal knocked the stuffing out of us.

Walker was brilliant going forward and for a change a bit iffy at the back.

Rose was mom, I prefer it when we play three at the back it gives more licence for our free to go forward.

Winks an Eriksen and the cbs ok. Lloris showed his brilliant shot stopping and some woeful passing and decisions.

Burnley pressed high and with intensity. mostly we were brave enough to try and play out. This lead to some mistakes. Their goal was poor from us, but an unfortunate sequence of bounces.

We had 19 attempts in the first half .. I'd love us to score 4, but that shows how well we can do, even when not at our best! If Alli scores right at the start (Rose' ball forward was class), then it might have been a lot easier

Rose 11. I thought he was top notch throughout and the MoM, then he goes and scores! So gets an extra 1 for the goal

Verts, Walker, Lloris, Winks all very good

Sissoko and Son both pushed them as they tired.

The rest were all good in fits and starts.

Good win. Real character and a brave performance to keep playing against such a high press.

I'm happy this Christmas!

Against the so called weaker teams, Wanyama is redundant, as offensively he's seriously poor

Agree.

With the ball he looked pretty bad today. Not sure if the stats back that up but I thought he was sloppy.

Feel a bit sorry for Dier, he's not looking comfortable at CB and IMO should never play there, he's a great young DM who needs to keep growing into the position, not moved around like a utility man.

Delighted with another win, credit to Burnley they are very good at what they do.

Don't get the over the top Winks love in, he has a long way to go although he's neat tidy and mobile. Kane played well in patches but he needs a goal.

Son actually did well coming off the bench recycling it effectively and Eriksen and Sissoko worked some good moves down the right, without things quite clicking as we all hoped.

Danny mom for me, by quite a distance, dribbling, passing, crossing and finishing, and the never say die. I love the geezer.

Coys.
