Young darts down the wing and whips in a cross that Lambert rises like a Salmon and scores the winning goal in the 90th minute and spurs win 1-0 and are the Premiership Champions ffs.

We'll be a laughing stock if we sign this fella. Doesn't fit the apparent direction we are going in and would be a joke of a signing

I don't agree with all of the negative comments on him. Ok he's not a world beater but we need a bit of depth, know- how, experience in this exciting, young squad. Particularly up front. Lambert won't play much but if we need to rest Harry for an away trip to Ukraine surely he could do a good job. Whilst also passing on a bit of experience to the youngsters. Our squad is taking a very exciting shape but we need to be careful we don't lose all of the older heads. A bit of balance is key

oh look, Spurs want Berahino and WBA want Lambert... so apparently Spurs want Lambert. Join those dots.

Doubt there's anything in this, but having him score the winner at St. Marys only to go absolutely Marco Tardelli mad would be nice.

I kinda torn. I'd be ok with him as a third choice but obviously not ok if he was our back up to Kane.

Soldado is better then Lambert so we will be weaker for it

I don't necessarily disagree with you but do you honestly think, if lambert was given the same amount of minutes as Soldado was given over the last 2 years, that he'd score less than 2 goals from open play?

I don't.

If we're talking about bringing in guys who can't get into Liverpool's starting XI I'd sooner we put in a cheeky bid for mad Mario....

Really? For a backup striker, his wages are astronomical and he scored less league goals than Lambert last season and Balotelli played far more minutes.

With finally good crossers in Rose & Trippier, it wouldn't be worst option.

Would get plenty of headers

Surely this a joke, if this is the only type of player we can get its going to be a very boring and long season, what has happened to ambition Mr Levy. I was really looking forward to this new season with some strong signings but we seem to sell everyone and not replace typical leave it to the last day and get a shoddy player. I just hope this is rubbish and we have some real targets in mind.

I thought we were due some good news this week according to the ITK?
