Talkshite are reporting that according to their sources that keano is on his way to liverpool and crouch coming to us they are also saying bently is onhis way to us.I would be gutted if keano goes that would mean if berbs goes too then we have to replace 46 goals crouch and would not be able to do that

isn't that radio show just for people who can;t read the red tops.i don't care much for their reports and i for one think this story has got no legs. take crouch of the equation and we are expected to believe that liverpool will pay a combined fee of around 39 million, as reported by the journos, for keane and barry.

I am not ITK, this is my first bit, but I know a couple of journo's and authors who have written spurs books etc, and I have just received an email from a journo (spurs fan) in which we discussed Keane and Berba saying that he has been assured that Keano is going nowhere and that we have yet to receive any sensible bids for berba.

Take or leave it, just thought I would post it anyway.

I can verify the sources if need be mods!

I think Keane does pose Ramos a selection problem. I think this has legs in that for 20m could ramos see selling Keane as a way to avoid making personal sacrifices in his perfered team shape and selection.

Keane is great player. His status in the PL and internationally has risen over the past few seasons and as either a point of the attack or the second striker he is top class.... but as we all know his only an average AM and i feel Rafa won't abandon 451 for a 442 so he's spending 20m on a not quite good enough AM or he's not really interested at all.

Robbie keane is on holiday with Jamie Redknapp at the moment. So that could work either way!

Crouch will end up at Pompey. Keane will go nowhere unless we are lining up a David Villa or something.

I am wondering though whether Ramos may be toying with the idea of going one up front.

It's amazing just how much so many Spurs fans under value Keano. Despite the chances he creates and goals he scores people still like to criticise him. It seems the latest thing is that he doesn't work hard enough. Yet these people who criticise him tend to be very selective about the strikers they choose to compare him to, usually Rooney, Tevez and Kuyt. None of which really have a better scoring record than Keane. They fail to mention how equally "lazy" the likes Of Adebayor, Drogaba, Martins, Owen, Torres, Agbonlahor, Jonhson, Crouch, Defoe, Viduka, Martins and Yakubu etc are. How mnay times have you seen the mighty Drogba getting stuck in making blocks and tackles etc? Just because commentators go crazy when he defendes a set piece doesn't mean he is working ahrd as the first line of defence, which Keane is bizzarley criticised for. We've been spolied for choice with strikers over recent yeaers and it's lead to some very odd behaviour by some Spurs fans. Mido scored 11 in 27 and made more assisits than ahyone and was roundly slagged of. Defoe had a very good record and was constantly described as nothing more than a shift and shoot striker, Bent is shit depsite his good scoring record and now Keane, who last year scored more goals than any other Prem striker, gets slated for being lazy and for not doing much other than scoring. What a terrible thing for a striker to do!

At least the Liverpool fans seem to appreciate how good he is and how important it is to have a reliable Prem striker in the squad. Maybe it's because unlike us, they haven't been spoiled for choice and have had to put up with Cisse, Crouch, Kuyt, Voranin and Morientes etc. They seem pretty unanimous in their prasie of Keane:

I like reading other clubs forums and one thing I've noticed is that no other clubs do itk to the extent Spurs do. I visit Arsenal mania, rawk, kumb, comeonboro, toontastic, redcafe and villa talk quite frequently and combined they seem to have less itk posted then we do.

yeah i just had a look on there, nothing at all really, guess there maybe other forums though.

the only thing i noticed is how they are so excited about the possibility of it happening, more so than i though.

rawk is the main Liverpool forum, but because this story is from the NOTW, they won't allow it to be posted.

Spurs fans do rate Robbie Keane. Thats we sing his name evry game. There is just a minority who can't see what he's given to our club. Bad luck to them, but don't put us all in that bracket

I don't know why but I actually believe this might happen. I'd be absolutely gutted if Keane went. Keane out, Crouch in = worst deal ever. :bang:
