I keep asking myself: Why couldn't it have just all been peachy? Why couldn't I wake up and get my workout in, settle down and then find out that Valencia accepted the offer and Baldini and Soldado are drinking Mojitos on the flight back to London? Then, I sit back and re-evaluate what I just asked myself and think: Because, Spurs.

Anyone know a good medication for hearing voices?

Or that he'd put his reputation on the line by being a party to any silly buggers being played during negotiations.

Which is exactly what this is - negotiations.

Ahhh Misfit your avatar suits you, a smart and wise gentleman.

Do you honestly think he's done for us something that another chairman couldn't?
Sugar brought us back from the dead never forget that. We were dead and buried.

If Levy stopped fucking around with players he simply won't pay for and targeted realistic targets we could already be title contenders.
The man is convinced of his own self importance and he's hindered us equally as much as he's helped us with his incessant need to bicker over prices.

If it's true that on various occasions that he himself had lowered offers then he needs to be removed and replaced with some one who goes after players they INTEND to sign.

I'm saying this from my heart - Levy is a liar.
To convince Bale to stay, to get AVB and then AVB to stay he's lied about signing super stars.
He goes through the motions thenbacks out when it's close. Regularly.

I don't want him to spend recklessly. I want him to sign actual players. Not fuck around lying about interest in the cream of Europe's crop.

If your argument is valid way haven't these other mythical chairmen who could have done better than Levy done it at other clubs ?

doesn't sound like negotiating to me. Sounds like they've closed any potential deal which means we've pissed them off in some way.

They cannot afford that as they are deperately in debt and need money ASAP - DL knows he has the upperhand and is squeezing... Spurs already have 2 strikers on the books :coffee:

We still don't know whether there is an agreement or not. I haven't seen a quote from a Valencia board member, and they're usually quick to get in front of the camera.

Considering that Valencia are effectively owned by a bank that was itself bailed out with funds from a whip round by EU member states it's a shame we can't all apply some pressure for them to sell Soldado and pay some of our money back.

OH come on now. What happened with Lloris was we offered them a price. They wanted at £3m-£4m more for him. They spent all summer trying to get it and then we signed him for the price we first offered. Show me where we lowered our offer etc? I don't remember one suggestion of that during the Lloris deal.

Look, some people think DL is a complete wanker. Fine by me, I don't know the man personally. Let's not just make shit up though, mkay.

“He talks a lot and goes back on what we’ve agreed in writing. Agreements have not at all been respected."

Wow, this time yesterday, the Soldado thread was on 23 pages.
If I didn't fear A&C and his box of dildos tricks so much, I would post an Anchorman "that escalated quickly" picture...
