I think we've got to the stage now where because this transfer is so public, every little normal transfer detail that we read about that needs to be sorted such as taxes and loyalty bonuses are seen as potential disruptions to the deal.

In reality this happens with every transfer, but because it is normally all behind closed doors, it is never seen by fans and therefore never seen as a problem or potential deal breaker. Im sure we went through some of the same things with Chadli and from the outside that transfer looked quick and easy.
