Nah. The captain always goes up to collect the trophies. We have so many options out wide and in midfield it's a bit ridiculous. AVB is going to have some tough decisions on his hands.

He had a holiday in margate when he was 7 so should be used to our strange foreign ways.
I'm not really worried (much). I just felt like it was a long shot to get him from the beginning because he's only lived in 2 cities and he's from his club's city. I was mostly joking, though, and trying to keep from getting too excited over actually possibly signing a striker.
Fucking hell I'm supposed to be writing a paper on Heidegger but keep on finding myself back in this thread instead. At some point the wires in my brain are going to get mixed up and I'll end up submitting a detailed account of Baldini's philosophical system of signing a genuinely fanfuckingtastic striker.....
José Mourinho is resigned to being without his Spanish trio Juan Mata,Fernando Torres and César Azpilicueta when Chelsea start their Premier League campaign at home to Hull City on 18 August. The trio are due back in London only 24 hours before the opener after Spain's friendly in Ecuador.
Which would mean Soldado would miss Palace game...
Good find. Hopefully we can manage against mighty Palace.

It is a joke how clubs potentially miss players on the opening day due to international friendlies and especially more so when some of the countries were playing into June!Good find. Hopefully we can manage against mighty Palace.
A Liverpool fan commented on an article in a Swedish paper linking us to Soldado saying that he wouldn't suite our "Hoof style of football" and that he should sign for 'Pool instead.
Mata, Torres, Navas will all be called up (well maybe not Torres) but the Spaniard at Arse isn't good enough and Silva isn't eitherThey just won't call up Spanish epl players
Ooh ive been there, good luck with it!!
T-Minus 5 hours until... "THE Meeting?"
and that is all that should matter to us fans. let the people who run the club worry about the fee!
Thought it was 12:00 spanish time?
