Roberto Soldado has reiterated his commitment to Valencia after reports linking the striker with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.
The 28-year-old is currently preparing for the Confederations Cup with Spain, but with rumours about his future persisting he has announced he does not want to leave the Mestalla.
"It is clear for me that I want to stay here and help Valencia return to the Champions League, where we deserve to be," Soldado told Valencian newspaper Super Deporte.
"That is despite the fact that we have not achieved our aim of doing that this season."
Reports in England suggested that Tottenham are preparing to make a £20million offer for Soldado as they continue their search for a new striker this summer.
While the player himself would like to stay, it is believed that Valencia are ready to listen to offers to fund signings for their new coach Miroslav Djukic.

Probably not interested in us then, some quotes today that he'll not shut the door on PL or Bundesliga. Probably wants guaranteed CL every year should he move though.

Transfer news: Valencia striker Roberto Soldado has admitted he would be interested in joining the Spanish contingent in the Premier League.

Soldado, who is currently in Brazil preparing for the Confederations Cup with Spain, has been linked with a move to Tottenham in recent months.
The 28-year-old has fuelled transfer speculation by admitting he finds the Premier League appealing having seen how international team-mates such as Chelsea’s Juan Mata, Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla and Manchester City’s David Silva have flourished after leaving Spain.
He told Movistar: “I’m not closing the doors to anyone. I know that some of my Spain team-mates have left Spain and done very well.
“The Premier League and the Bundesliga are very attractive leagues for any player because of the atmosphere and reputation of these countries.”
Soldado netted 28 goals for Valencia last season as they finished fifth in La Liga.

Even if he would prefer staying, I imagine there's a good chance that Valencia would tell him to leave for their sake if they got a good bid. They do need cash. And he's not exactly ruling anything out, he's being very diplomatic
