"Valencia never had any intention of selling Soldado. If he goes then it is because the €30million figure has been met, not a cent less or a cent more.
"The buying club will also have to accept Valencia's conditions of payment also.
"We agreed to meet Tottenham again to discuss the ways of paying and we did that because we understood that his buy-out clause would be met.
"Speaking about ways that deals are paid is normal and this will be done in a way that suits the financial department of Valencia and not that of any other clubs."

I will say, this thread has been absolutely comedy gold today.

Bravo to all!

....even that guy who typed LIVERPOOL.

Talksport just read a statement from Valencias chairman saying that the payment structure must be met to the benefit of Valencia and not any other club.

The consensus (on TS) is that Levy wont budge.
I'm sure Valencia's creditors will give them all the time they need.

Not.

Infact just as I posted this i've seen these on Sky Sports. Worrying if true. Hopefully they're old but I haven't seen them anywhere else

I reckon Levy should grow a goatee. He's probably already very similar to Ben Kingsley's character when it comes to negotiations...

Levy: "yes, yes, yes, yes, yes...you ****"

Baldini: "mama mia! Ah honely asked if you wanna cuppa tea"

I could imagine Levy...saying....'you'll just have to turn this opportunity yes'

I still think these quotes seem pretty positive

I have no idea what that is but it made me laugh!

Would love to be wrong on this but I can't see Levy caving in and meeting their demands.

Life's so much easier when you just expect an Andy booth loan signing.

What a coup that was, the good old days

I take that as ok news if its new! They want the 30 as we know and it seems the bit that needs sorting is the way it's paid. I'm sure we can come to a good conclusion!
