Biggar will get FH ahead of Freddie Burns in my opinion - he's had a good six nations tournament this year has Biggar

I'm unconvinced. Sods law that the 1 area of the pitch we are weak is arguably the most important position on the pitch. He had his best game in the welsh jersey against england though, hopefully he can build on that. He is only 23 after all (I think).

He's been pretty solid this six nations to be fair to the guy. I'm convinced. I really think he can make the position his own (not that priestland is much competition!)

The issue with any French based players is when their season ends. If anyone (say Sheridan at Toulon) reaches the final then they are held early June and so will be on at the same time as the Lions warm up games I imagine. I don't know what the availability would be for these players. You don't really want them missing the early warm up games and then dashing out there for the next ones exhausted and under prepared.
This has happened with past tours - far from ideal

In today's Observer Eddie Butler has named his Lions first XV. It's made up of 10 Welshmen, 4 Irish and 1 Scot. If that's the case I probably won't be watching.

Yeah, surely not.

Ahead of the Lions tour, I'm on the organising committee for the KL Annual Charity Rugby Dinner this year, which should be cracking. Takes place on June 4. Guests this year are Martin Bayfield, Gavin Hastings and Joe Roff. I volunteered to do the entertainment and media stuff (sacrifices, sacrifices), so I get to drive them around KL for a morning as well as spend some time during the cocktails and dinner with them. Feel free to ask any questions and I'll shamelessly pass them off as my own before posting answers back here.

Leinster's Joe Schmidt is to take over as head coach of Ireland, the Irish RFU announced on Monday.

How many English players have to be playing in order for you to watch it?

I thought Nathan Hines had a huge game on Saturday against Munster and has got too be one of the first choice 2nd rows. Being french based though may have a negative impact on his chances tho?

*Not strictly Lions/6 Nations realted but my local club are playing at the Millenium Stadium on Saturday at the WRU's Swalec finals day. We're in the Bowl final [for divisions 4,5,6 & 7 - 140 teams]. Hell of an achievement for a small town of less than 5,000 people, and no team from our county has even got to a semi final of a swalec competition previously! I was meant to be up at the Lane on Saturday but this is a once in a lifetime day out so I'll be in Cardiff instead.
Paddy Power are offering odds on the game from friday so if there's any decent value I'll let you guys know :)

Between 1 and 14 ;)

LOL

TBF, I'd expect at least 3-4 in the starting line up. As much as it pains me to say, Farell would get the nod for me. In terms of the squad there should be plenty of English going

After yesterday it wouldn't surprise me to see Wilkinson there.

True. I loved the acknowledgment between Farrel and Wilkinson when that final drop goal went over. Farell looked so dejected and Wilkinson just gave him a slight pat on the back.

For me, I'd leave Johnny at home even though he was one of my favourite players growing up
