Gladly we've got to this stage where we have 1 game to go and can put everything into it one last time. I think another 2 or 3 more games would be too much for us with respect to tiredness and squad depth

We did enough to get the job done, so credit to the players for that, but that game aged me. Should never have been that close but we defended well against a side whose only game plan (after they stopped wasting time) was to play the long ball and pick up the scraps. All over to Arsenal now. Come on the Toon!

Felt a good camaraderie after the game for the player awards etc, which has got me looking forward to next season already!
