Yeah but I think some of that is Conte, some of it is the players themselves. It's difficult to point the finger at which is the bigger reason we drop so deep.

If he gets a couple of defenders in in January, and we are still doing it I'll be worried, but I think that's why he wants experience in there tbh. To sort them out whilst in play.

We need to just put every penny into improving the defence in January. Just keep our fingers crossed Kulu stays fit and with Son Kane and Richy they can get us to the summer. Defensively right now we’re awful, we can’t keep having to chase games. Not only will it not work constantly but we’re using far too much energy doing it.

We are still reliant on Kulu - a creative attacking player. That's what Spurs thrive on, good attacking play. Our defence is poop, and being defensive-minded adds unnecessary pressure to our unreliable defence. The January transfer window is crucial, but I am not optimistic that we will get good signings. I am still not convinced by Conte, though. I will give him the season before passing any judgment.
