In all honesty we should have scored 3 or even 5 more. The number of chances we created was just incredible.
Rico Lewis was hounded all over the pitch by Hojbjerg & Bentancur and same for Emerson as well on Grealish.

Superb game all round.
Only negative is losing Romero for next game - he has to learn. Already has bad reputation of being rash player. He needs to learn from days like today

Well, as for as Pep vs Spurs - Pep playing 5d chess in another multiverse overthinking and second guessing himself....Long may it continue. We have his number.

I knew he'd leave one on Grealish before the game was out. And secretly, I quite liked it. ?

it's hilarious that we have well and truly mind fucked Pep into overthinking how to play against us everytime. No De Bruyne? leaving your two best defenders on the bench, hilarious

Many congrats to Harry Kane. Such a star, hard worker, perfectionist. Deserves everything good in the sport. Proud day for him and for Spurs fans everywhere.

Also big shout outs to Royal and Son. I've had the horrors watching Royal sometimes but today he was tenacious and aggressive in and out of possession. He was up against probably their best performer on the day and never gave him an inch.

And Sonny is looking a bit more like himself again. Making the right small decisions all game, not forcing it, and carrying a threat.

Lots of this season left to play. Hopefully this is a galvanizing performance and result, which Kulu predicted in his interview earlier in the week.

He’s decision making is awful. He has talent but no bottle. It maybe playing for City that stops him being brave. He doesn’t do anything that opens up the game, changes the game or contributes to the attack. By default he makes the odd good thing happen , over all negative, for me.
He had his sweet spot at Villa because he was afforded way more space and as a result looked marauding and dangerous. The lack of space and Pep’s preference for tippy tappy has really killed many parts of his game and as a result he looks out of sorts quite often.

He’d suit out style perfectly as a counter attacking team now. We should definitely try for him if he ever becomes available, but our main focus should be Mitoma.

If a Brighton player performed like Emerson Royal did in today’s game, Chelsea would be preparing a £50m bid for him. He was superb.

He was their best player going forward and defensively alongside Ake. I’d loved him at Spurs. Carries the ball forward so well, gives defenders nightmares and despite being constantly fouledd and kicked plays with a smile on his face. He would have been an absolute legend at Spurs.

Gives *most* defenders nightmares... ?

Off topic sort of but The bonus point system in fpl is ridiculous. Lloris 3 as top Emerson not even a point.

Weird that we can turn in good performances when we’ve got a bench full of options and barely any injuries of note. Almost like losing some key players for weeks / months might make a difference!!

Buzzing for win… much needed. Can’t even remember the last goal we conceded either.

Big win. Big performance!

Royal well on the road to redemption and bar the one time he hacked Grealish down, dealt with the threat superbly well and full credit to him having to suffer the amount of abuse.

A relatively kind schedule awaits now so let's see if we can now push on now and turn what's been a tumultuous season into something remarkable!
