You can all stop wankin over arsenal now ?
I thought H worked his wotsits off today. Never stopped running. Perhaps not on his best form but did he work for the team. If he continues working at this pace he will be knackered for the World Cup.
The scoffing at our result has started.
Agbonlahor: "It was only Southampton." repeatedly.
Yes, that Southampton we lost to at home last year. That typical team that pundits continuously state that "if Spurs are to do well, they need to do better against these types".
Consistently moving the goalposts these 'pundits'.
Agbumhole hates Spurs. Never has a good thing to say. Not sure why but its plain he doesn't like us.
The stadium’s anything but disappointing. What gets me though is the queue for a beer -every week it’s the same. Just pour pints in advance - it will get drunk.
Great result today though.
Almost seemed too easy

It's partially because during Covid, every game was on TV with a unique kickoff slot to give the nation something to watch, and therefore only 1 Saturday 3pm game each week. I seem to remember we had a long streak of starting the season away from home too. Still remarkable though!!!WHAT ??!! ?
This was the first time Tottenham have played a home Premier League game at 3pm on Saturday in 973 days, since beating Burnley 5-0 in December 2019, and the first time they have begun a season in this kick-off slot for more than 20 years.
Watching the extended highlights you can see how good Hojbjerg actually was. Had a hand in every goal. I watched the game on a stream so can't remember all of the good things he did.
Just from the highlights -
- played a decent long ball to son which ended 1v1 with keeper,
- played the ball to son when he didn't pass to Harry at the end of the first half for an almost certain goal,
- Played the ball to kulusevski for the assist to sessegnon,
- Played the ball to son for the assist to dier,
- Played the ball to son for the "assist" to emerson cross for the own goal,
- Played the ball to emerson for his assist to kulusevski.
I thought him and Benta were brilliant yesterday. Controlled midfield.Watching the extended highlights you can see how good Hojbjerg actually was. Had a hand in every goal. I watched the game on a stream so can't remember all of the good things he did.

If Bissouma isn’t an upgrade we’ve got troublePEH is criminally underrated by us. I just dont get it. Just because he isnt elite, people think that he is a weak point. He really isnt. The fact of the matter is that he and Bentancur have a good understand and as a partnership theyre damn great together.
Bissouma is an excellent player but we dont know yet whether he and Bentancur could work. If there was a CL final tomorrow - we all know who would be in the middle. Against Chelsea next week - I would be far more comfortable PEH and Bentancur than the other potential pairings.
