There’s no need to play TWO defensive minded ‘wing backs’.

We know the formation can’t be changed, but we should be playing players, best suited to the formation/opposition.

Honestly don't get the noise about the wingbacks. Perisic is not capable of bombing up and down that wing for 90 minutes twice a week, in fact I don't think anyone is. We have no other left sided players available to fill in out there so Davies is the only choice. Porro looked exposed against Leicester whilst Emerson has hit a patch of good form, so again a sensible pick.

We are quite limited in all positions aside from the front three right now, so best get used to seeing things like this.

I hope we stuff West Ham. Didn't see that they were back where they belong (the relegation zone) and it would be nice to put our foot on their head and keep them under water.

Emerson has been in great form, while Porro played once and was shite. I’m sure PP will be our first choice RWB before too long, but not sure why people are surprised about that selection today.

Is this the game you want a defensive wing back? Form has nothing to do with it. Some games you have to dig on, others express yourself and impose your will on the opposition.
