This week effectively could say bye to any top 4 chances
I hear you, but I don't know man. As a professional you use that to up your game. When a business gets complaints from customers it fuels them to do better.Probably controversial but I genuinely think the crowd made a difference today. Their reaction at FT against Southampton perpetuates exactly the type of nerves and mistakes we saw early on today. Most people on this planet would be nervous walking out to face that again.
Yep today was goodbye top fourThis week effectively could say bye to any top 4 chances
We are actually a bit of a bogey team for them so there’s always a glimmer of hope.I did winner your post but yes, the word could suggest there’s a chance we won’t.
4 players? Daniel go back and play with you're property drawings, this forum is for real fans!I’m not going g to read the moaning but I’m not worried. Top 4 is gone, FA cup is a very real possibility this year. I trust Conte ? and I think he’s proven beyond doubt that he knows what he’s doing.
We have such an unbalanced squad it’s unreal. We need some players brought in who have the personality to play for him. We’ve got too many players that lack ability/bottle in that squad. It’s obvious who needs to be moved on and who stays. 4 players in the summer and we will be back. Centre half, RWB, midfielder and Striker. Ideally a LWB another CH as well.
I think the style of play is good, take out the donkeys and the players who just aren’t up to it and we’ll be fine.
The fact that it’s obvious is a real plus.
Individual mistakes cost us again. Lloris sparked the second goal too with a bad pass to Davies, he then compounded it by clearing it 20 yards straight to their player which after a shot, save, deflection, and the post made its way to their player on the edge of the six yard box.Missed the game today, not a good result at all. What did I miss apart from that Hugo “punch” for the first goal ? Only seen a small snippet of the first goal and he made a right **** of that! How did we play? Can’t be bothered sifting through the thread? Shite again? Probably
The problem is there is no pressure from off the bench.Better 2nd half. But who gives a shit after we'd already handed them the game in the 1st. I mean, these teams aren't even having to win these games, we are literally giving it to them.
Absolute shit show at the back again, with professionals panicking and unable to even do the fundamentals.
So sick of seeing players with their hands in the air apologising for a bad pass, or giving the ball up in horrendous areas. Forget the apologising, and just stop making the same fucking basic errors every week.
Except that for the duration of the actual match against Southampton the crowd were fantastic - louder than I’ve heard since Poch. What more can they do when the team is this shit?Probably controversial but I genuinely think the crowd made a difference today. Their reaction at FT against Southampton perpetuates exactly the type of nerves and mistakes we saw early on today. Most people on this planet would be nervous walking out to face that again.
Does it? Normally those complaints, certainly the angry rants most comparable to booing, go to the poor souls working minimum wages at a call centre - who are regularly anxious, stressed and depressed. Businesses up their game in response to feedback (either literal, or realising something isn't working) - and even then we only know of the cases where that does work, because the others tend to diseappear.I hear you, but I don't know man. As a professional you use that to up your game. When a business gets complaints from customers it fuels them to do better.
They booed at half-time, and booed again at full-time. Being nice to someone and then booing them doesn't balance out.Except that for the duration of the actual match against Southampton the crowd were fantastic - louder than I’ve heard since Poch. What more can they do when the team is this shit?
I hear you on the call centres earning minimum wages who face the brunt, but in this case it's different. It's not the ball boys being booed.Does it? Normally those complaints, certainly the angry rants most comparable to booing, go to the poor souls working minimum wages at a call centre - who are regularly anxious, stressed and depressed. Businesses up their game in response to feedback (either literal, or realising something isn't working) - and even then we only know of the cases where that does work, because the others tend to diseappear.
Two In midfield would completely work, but in order for it to work you need three good ball playing defenders, two quality CMs and two fast WB’s who are good on the ball. We started that match with two adequate players out of seven.Lage: "They are often playing with just two midfielders so we tried to put more men there. They changed to put one more man to press Ruben. After they adapted so we adjusted. It was harder to control the game with the ball, but we controlled it without."
I mean for fuck sake
