I reckon Caulker has more touches per game than any other Swansea player.

Reminds me a bit of Ledley, no higher compliment IMO

"@craigbunji23: @stevencaulker91 Gutted you aren't playing today, RT for 4 travelling swans fans." Part of the loan deal people.

Wonder if the thought was to get him back in this window, or just to keep that option open.

I hope he stays and finishes the season with them and then come back to fight for a place next season.

Premier league loans can't be recalled so presumably not.

In football manager there's always an option to allow loanees to play in cup games, so presumably we didn't. Maybe we just don't want them to over-play him.

you can recall them during the transfer window if you have the cause in the contract.

So we could still get Caulker or Naughton back if we needed them

There was a clause in Caulkers loan contract that allows the loan to be reviewed in January and continued/terminated. So if we want him back, he's ours.

A Player on long term loan may not be recalled except for a goalkeeper or where the Player
is to be transferred permanently by the Club holding his registered contract. A Player other
than a goalkeeper so recalled cannot be permitted to play for the Club holding his
registration after such recall until the end of the Season. Players so recalled can only be
replaced by a further long term loan with permission from the Company. Long term loans
transfers will not count against the number of short term loans in Rule 6.4.4.

If this is the case I'd definitely recall him rather than sploshing on a new centre back.
