Fantastic victory. Superb few days on the road. I now expect us to win most away games. Been many a year since I felt new confident.

Dawson I thought was excellent. Looks leaner as sharper. Naughton very good as well.

Our midfield was magnificent. Dembele is a machine and is so good with the ball coming forward. Sandro a beast once again. Has to be one of the first names on team sheet. Great to see Lennon running at people and scoring a cracking goal!

Shame about front 2. Neither really impressed. An out and out 3rd striker would provide competition.

Walker needs to learn. Hate gettin on his back but loses focus occasionally. Gettin back to old self though.

Onwards and upwards. In AVB we trust!!

First reaction is that we got away with that one.
An own goal out of nothing to put us back on track
and then a great finish by Lennon who was our most dangerous player even before he scored.
When we start playing it around the back four on 56 minutes then I think the tactics are wrong.
Bale and L ennon had the beating of them and we should have continued to press for a third goal.
Adebayor should have scored two.We looked too casual and lethargic
and such a slow build up especially Dembele gives teams the time to organise their defence.
We made it all look a bit desperate when really it wasn't.
Great three points accepted

Alot of players impressed me today

Naughton was very very good
Lloris was commanding as always
Lennon was simply brilliant and an amazing goal
Sandro as always battled til the very end alongside dembele

All subs were excellent .. Dempsey was superb and that little backheel pass to ade was world class.parker within minutes showed us what we were missing and sigs pressurising was top notch.

Well done lads :)

With the next few games we have we really have a chance to cement our place in the top four.

Dempsey's performance when he came on cushions the blow of Bale missing Reading. He'll replace him well on that form.

Bit concerned about using Dembele though. We need him, but he's looking pretty knackered to me.

That interception from Naughton near the end was top drawer. He saved a certain goal.

Naughton has been quietly impressive (despite what Spurs Bear says! ;) ) and with Rose's emergence at Sunderland then you can see why we would perhaps entertain selling Benny.

Am pleased that the Sky team are backing Bale here and saying he was fouled.

Just so frustrating, what is there to be done?:(

I would argue that the team started to play better as Dembele came back into play, I haven't seen anything from Adebayor this season to make me think he was/will be the same player as last season. He has a true attitude problem. When he fell down today, he would lay there for about 20 seconds, and when he didn't get that corner, he sat up by the goal post with his hands up, offside, for about half a minute. He has been acting like a spoiled Brat who has not gotten his way.

Adebayor looked like agent arsenal today. Didn't look like he really tried to score with either of his sitters today. Terrible and should be dropped. I'm a massive Adebayor fan but it is not doing him any favours by letting him think that kind of display is acceptable.

Is Kyle walker modding today...? Started a thread stating how naughton is the better player and it's disappeared. The free kicks walker conceded today were criminal, he's so naive.

I think it's one where you do not appeal, as it's against READING. The call was a bad one, but Bale's simulation in the past has led to this, it was nearly inevitable. Had it been another player, the call surely would have went our way.

Yeah mate but if he'd come into his knee a tiny bit harder he could have smashed it and good knows what could've happened

Also, will echo comments on Lloris - imperious in goal and if the ball didn't fall on a plate to O'Shea then the media would be lauding a great save and an impeccable performance.

Messy game but great points.

Positives for me is how we turned the game around, creating lots of chances and not conceding in the last minutes. Fine displays by lloris and bale inparticular.

Negatives: missing to many sitters, giving away fouls and offensive set pieces. All those is stuff we simply must give more focus during training. Ade, walker, defoe and Daws had weak games sadly.

Edit: another negative is the ref robbing us for a pen and is contributing to giving bale a bad rep. Horrible call by the ref.

absolutely abysmal finishing today, thankfully it didn't cost us the game as we should've scored at least 4.

naughton, sandro and azza our best players, well done to them.

i think that kyle naughton is a prime example of what a run of games in the side can do for a young player, he was excellent today

Not conceding in the last five minutes does it for me. :)
