Sigurdsson with an assist and a goal, Bony to score a hatrick.

Maybe Baldini could spend 26m plus offer soldaldo for Bony? At current rate Swans to finish above Spurs this season.

"I keep talking about Spurs as if they are in the mix for the top six and another European spot and comparing their performances to what they need to achieve that. I am not sure that is the case, however, because the more I see of them, the more I think they are quite average."

If vlad has one thing going for him, it's that he is actually pretty quick. He doesn't get beaten for pace very often
Looking back combined with his usual eccentricity he got us out of jail a coupla times on Thursday. I want to keep him.

I would be so happy to see Walker playing RB on Sunday. but am not sure he will play.

Against Palace, we looked so leggy - especially our academy trio - Nabil, Mason & Kane. Surely with a week rest, they should be up for this game. I see high energy pressing from all 3 and also from Eriksen.

We have always done well against Swansea but almost every game they gave us a scare. One occasion they were unlucky to lose too. This time around, they are in better form than us. But I would back us to do well & win against them.

My XI

Lloris
Walker (Chiriches), Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies
Mason, Bentaleb,
Lennon, Kane, Eriksen,
Soldado.

I am fed up with Soldado, missing chance after chance. If Lamela or Chadli or Townsend can step up a bit, I would happily drop Soldado for them. But at the moment, their contribution is less than Soldado - means he starts for me. Hopefully, we are able to replicate Everton game.

Think we'll get at least a point.

We like playing Swansea, they play out from the back and the high pressing game is perfect for this type of match - if we can get it going that is.

No excuses for fatigue here though, enough players were rested so lets see a lot more of what we saw against Everton and a lot less than we saw against Palace.

We manage that and I think we'll edge this. 2-1 Spurs - a recurring scoreline for us.

At least we know what we'll get with Swansea. Garry Monk isn't going to waffle on to the media before the game about how they aren't just going to settle for a point then time waste from the kick off like Warnock and Palace.

I think that's a fair comment, I've said the same when justifying a selection choice throughout a lot of the season really. Only reason I would disagree at this point is that we don't create a massive deal currently, and I don't think we can rely on Soldado to take our chances, especially if we only have a few in the game. It's getting to the point where him being on the end of most of our moves is going to cost us a lot of points, as much as I hate to say.

... and yet he says a team on equal points can still get CL football. You'll never guess which.

Lawro is a joke.

Great player for Liverpool though. Of course you would expect him to back Pool for Champions league. Made us look quite poor didn't they, even without Suarez?

Can I just ask why you think that Paulinho deserves to be on the bench let alone in the starting line up?
Mason has been off his game a bit of late, Pauli had a good game mid week so why not rest Mason and play Pauli. We could do with Pauli's speed and engine against a fast flowing team like Swansea.

I would play either Chadli or Paulinho for Soldaldo and let Kane lead the line.

I would even consider playing Walker as a winger and then letting Chiriches fill in at right back.

No. We made us look poor by cowering in the corner and just taking it up the arsehole.

There's no doubt in my mind we're a better team than they are.
