Yeah but he's Harry's headless chicken remember and he's had a rest so him and Wilson CM.

kaboul looked like a headless chicken when he came on against Everton

well said - i thought he was poor and was amazed at the number of people who defended him on here and seemed to think he had a decent game

the only fear i have about livermore starting is he might get conned by blackburn players who are notorious for all the 'tricks of the trade', i remember wilson's red card for example

we also have Mr Webb i believe as ref (IIRC)

i'd hate to see jake take a red in such a massive game

i don't think he needs wilson to protect him one bit - i reckon he's probably as strong as WP and more than happy to put his foot in

but he might need protecting from himself

exactly, and given the current midfield mini-crisis younes would have been training as a cm so he should rightly be considered for cm

(unless you wanna drop the baboom bomb on the right and play kranjcar or modric the middle!):hump:

Hmmph, even a broken clock is right twice a day. You could argue that pav would have scored 3

Allardyce's post game comments:

“There is no doubt in my mind that he should go to the World Cup. He is a good target man who can also score goals. He has done the critical bit today, hasn't he? Even though the first goal should have been a free-kick to us, he still could have missed it but he punished us.

The ref has punished us by not spotting the foul and Crouchie has punished us with the quality of his header. You saw as well the quality of his header which was disallowed for offside and then his quality on the deck when he finished after getting through one-on -one on the goalie at a critical time. He showed his composure and his ability has paid off for Tottenham in this game.

He is the difference why Spurs have got the three points and we have come away with nothing.”

Not actually arguing that Crouch should start, but he was very good against Blackburn last time around anyway.

think crouch will start..why?
he did well at ewood, scored twice.
and he can defend against samba, who is a threat at set pieces.
pav will sit this one out i think.
the team should IMO ........

Still not convinced abot Krankjar on the right, though.

to be honest, im not either,

but he is the best option.

he tends to have one good game, then one not.

so on that basis..he should be fine this week:up:
