Don't know why we shouldn't give Winksy a good start in the Premier League.

With Barnsley to come in midweek (when I assume we'll play kids), is to borderline full strength

Hugo

Toby
Sanches
Jan

Trips
Dier
Dembele
Davies

Eriksen
Alli

Kane

A week before West Ham so play the side that will play the hammers. Aurier and Trips is the one question mark I have, rest of the first team picks itself IMO

I like this a lot tbh - basically Son playing the Sissoko role from last week. Hmmm, nice quandary to have and I now think I like your side more than mine

I like this a lot. Swansea arnt overly physical or competitive in the middle of the park either.

Just out football them and that side will most certainly do that. Could see us scoring a truck load with that attack.

That's exactly the team I came in to post, but I may have alternated Aurier and Trippier.

It looks attacking, but Eriksen is more than capable of dropping deeper and Swansea's midfield is likely to consist of Carroll, Sanches and Fer which isn't exactly threatening.

I'd quite like to see these teams over the next three games (Swans, Barnsley, Hammers)

Lloris/Vorm/Lloris

Toby/Dier/Toby
Sanch/Sanch/Sanch
Jan/Foyth/Jan

Aurier/Trips/Aurier
Dier/Winks/Dier
Alli/Sissoko/Dembele
Davies/KWP/Davies

Son/Son/Alli
Eriksen/Edwards/Eriksen

Kane/Llorente/Kane

I'd prefer that Aurier get the start. He had an understandably nervy first half-hour or so against Dortmund and the sooner he is fully integrated into the squad and develops an understanding with our other first choice players the better off we'll be. We have a massive run of matches against Real, Liverpool, United, Real again, Palace, then Arsenal starting in a month.

That run of matches could easily define our season and we'll need Aurier and Sanchez to be as close to fully settled as we can get them. For me that means they should both be playing in every important match, fitness permitting. Aurier is an incredible athlete so I'd be surprised if he couldn't handle another start, then we can bring Trippier in in the League Cup with KWP spelling Davies on the left.

Hope Fernando gets a good half hour love matching up a player against his former squad

Aurier should be fine to play again imo
Winks for Moose he wasn't good yesterday and doesn't play twice in a week anymore
Son has earned a spot in the starting XI but I don't think we'll need him as more than sub for this one

so I guess I'm saying

Lloris
Toby Sanchez Jan
Aurier Dier Winks Davies
Alli Eriksen
Kane

Llorente* Son* Trippier Dembele KWP Sissoko Vorm

*should see gametime

I think he'll only rest first team players if they're not fit/have a knock given we have calling cup midweek. The Trips/Aurier selection is the interesting one. If he goes for Aurier, will be a clear sign that Trips is second choice.

On this occasion he should give him consecutive games to settle him more in the club after his debut, after all he is suppose to be 1st choice.

I would also put Dembele more forward and play the team that started against Dortmund. Son deserves another go at Dele's expense

My Team

Lloris

Toby Sanchez Verts

Aurier Dier Davies

Erikson Dembele Son

Kane
SUBS: Vorm Trippier KWP Winks Dele Sissoko Lloriente
