IMO Lennon has to play!

West Ham absoulately shit themselves when he gets the ball, and plus going up against Danny Gabbidon could actually spark his season off with a bit of luck

I would go for:

-----------------Gomes----------------

Kaboul-----King--------Gallas------BAE---

Lennon----Modric------Hudd------Bale---

------------------VDV---------------------

----------------Crouch--------------------

Alot of West Ham fans fancy turning us over on Saturday but I dont care what team they put out im pretty convinced that this line up will collect all 3 points on the weekend! COYS :)

Gomes

Hutton Gallas King Bale

Huddlestone Jenas

Lennon Van Der Varrt Modric

Crouch

Subs: Cudicini, Sandro, Krancjar, Keane, Kaboul/Corluka (depends who is fit), Pavyluchenko, Assou-Ekotto

Lots of width, mix of pace and guile, strong CB pairing and most importantly leaving them to figure out the conundrum of how to mark Modric and Van Der Varrt who will float while keeping Bale from overlapping

This without a doubt for me.

I don't mind if Bale plays left back for this one actually. It's a good shout. West Ham always suits our game, so we should be on the front foot for a lot of the game. I just hope we don't treat it like an easy game. We really need the 3 points.

Agree. We're away from home and have a CL game coming up that we really need to win. I see us playing with two proper CMs, moving Modric out to the left and resting BAE, who will come back in on Wednesday.

Yeah I wouldnt be surprised if we shuffle Bale to LM, Modric to CM and BAE to LB for Twente, ofcourse that would mean we left Jenas out who has played well the last couple of games. I'm glad i'm not Harry tbh

So brett.spurs you are going for Gomes, Hutton, Gallas, King, Bale, Lennon, Huddlestone, Jenas, Modric, Van Der Varrt and Crouch.... I think.... In a 1-3-1-3-1-1-1 formation

This is very good team but I would consider swapping Modric and VdV as Modders has more influence playing centrally.

Either way that front 4 looks very tasty!

Hutton only choice

Centre halves, dont care, they should all nulify the shit West ham front line.

Bae. Because.....

Bale has to provide our pace in attack while Lennon is playing so shit.

Lennon, needs some faith in him to ge back to best.

Hudd, because we only need 1 holding midfielders and Palacios is playing like a girl.

Modric, or Jenas if he is fucked.

Crouch, for when, not if we resort to the away from home long ball.

Gomes* - If fit ofcourse, if not then I guess Carlo although I thought Stipe did ok despite what most said in the ratings thread

Hutton - If Charlie and Kaboom aren't fit, deserves a go after the Wolves game

Gallas - If fit

King - Should be ok to play Saturday then Wednesday

Bale - Benny played 120 minutes on Tuesday, rest him for Twente

Lennon - He'll come good with games

Hudd - He's great

Jenas - Playing well so deserves to keep his place

Modric - If fit, if not then Bale or Niko

VDV - We need goals, he fits the bill

Crouch - Because Pav is hopeless away from home and Keane isn't up to it currently

The concensus on here is that the only position where there is a contest is at right back assuming that Modric and Gomes are fit and Corluka is not. I'd go with Hutton if only to give Kaboul a couple of more days to recover. The bench would be Keane, Palacios, Pav, Jenas, Bassong, Sandro and Cudicini
