Fret thee not however. We can end the game midnight 31st December 2008 and meanwhile you can submit your team for the next game, which will run until midnight, 31st December 2009.

Yes, she was 81 and had cancer. A one-off performer and amazing for her age. Saw her being interviewed on TV not to so long ago. RIP feisty lady.

I PM'd A&C with a 2009 teamsheet a couple of days ago. The 2008 Dead Men Walking team is shown under my old username, monkey_finger. I've kept the spine of the team intact but have done a bit of tinkering on the peripheries. Some of the top names have been transferred out, having been replaced by some more workmanlike celebs, but I think we're going into the 2009 season with a much stronger unit. I'd like my actions in this transfer window to be judged at the end of the year.
