If it's S'Hampton GK underwhelming comes to mind. Poch needs certainly 2 & hopefully 3 players to strengthen the squad sooner rather than later.

From what JJ was saying last night the extra £5m that we're getting from the Siggy deal is going to help get a deal or two over the line. It shows where we are financially in comparison to the rest of the top six when an extra £5m can make such a big difference.

What are the club learning from exactly? Finishing in our best position for half a century as top scorers in the league, best defence, sustaining a title challenge until the final weeks and all with a first team on less than the combined fee of Man Utd's record signing all while they finished sixth.

I would imagine we put early, 'realistic' bids in for several players and are waiting for the deals to play out.
Our transfer policy is fairly transparent (young, year left on contract, good value etc) so I would assume Barkley and Foyth, who are more obtainable, are waiting for their clubs to accept bids which could be lower than they want/have been offered by other clubs.

I would also expect we've inquired about less obtainable targets such as Lamar, Meyer, Rabiot etc whilst their agents/clubs test the water.

Either way, the chances of us wrapping up business early in the window is always going to be unlikely.

Good to hear that the ITKs seem to be getting the same Info regarding our targets.
