Given Ryan Sessegnon was an original target is there a chance this could still happen despite the new Deal at Fulham? Ensuring Fulham got more money, but still open to the move?
Edit: basing this on reports our targets have not changed.

Spoke to a mate (I know more than one) who is a Fulham season ticket holder. The boy has his twin at the club, is a fan and will be first choice next season and then sold for more than he would have gone for this season. My first and last ITK. @Archibald&Crooks i would rather it not go in the RO

Sessegnon was more for the future than the first team now, he would have been bought in addition to those we are currently targeting.

We sign Barkley next week , watch how pundits reverse their predictions & make us one of the title favourites-simple reason being he improves our squad, pushes atleast 2 first XI players for starting spot.

Personally I never give a shit whether the media makes us favourite or not. What I give a shit about is that our players do give a shit and put in a good shift

Just thinking about some of the names strongly mooted earlier in the summer... I can't imagine that we'd still be in the running, given the kind of offers reportedly rejected from Arse***, but he certainly seemed to be on our radar back in May/June.

Arsenal have been getting offers in the 40-50 million range rejected by Monaco, so we cannot still see him as an option. We don't operate in that market.

That was the bit I was confused with reading the latest ITK. Lemar was quite clearly a top target early in the window, and it has been made clear (or at least that was how i took it) that he is no longer an option because of the financials and with JJ stating it was a difficult deal and that it was most likely Arsenal he would end up at.

So given the latest ITK, Lemar wasn't our top target...but I really can't see us in for anybody 'better' in that position...

You have to remember though just because we have shown an interest it doesn't necessarily mean they were our top targets, it just means it was leaked. We'd be stupid to just put all our eggs in one basket, and I'm sure we have sounded out a few players for each position prior to actually making any moves for our preferred targets.
