Not from a usual source so treat this with the appropriate amount of salt please.

United offered £40m for Kane who turned down the move, he's happy where he is at the moment.

Good to hear, but the 'at the moment' part scares me a tiny little bit.

Why ask him the question unless you are interested... ?
Courtesy to your player. What if he'd actually wanted to go and the club says no? that's a big problem. If he wants to go then they have to discuss terms.

I doubt Mr. all about the bottom line would reject a £40m bid for Kane at this juncture. He probably left it up to Kane. So lets just be glad Kane said no.

It's the principal. You just don't sell outstanding academy players that are yids like us... You just don't, no matter how much is offered.

Of course Levy didn't accept the offer.
Knowing that Daniel doesnt really care about future potential earnings by actually keeping our best players, do you really think he would have rejected a £40m offer for Kane had he said yes when approached?

I think I'm not going to discuss this with you. Sorry. Especially since you didn't answer my PM.

Do you show courtesy to your Mrs by pointing out the fact that Brad Pitt is eyeing her up and has past his number to her through you?

LIke Levy would have accepted 40m for Kane even if he'd countenance selling him this summer and to Utd.

A 21yo English (HG) striker who scored 32 goals in his debut season. Come on fellas, even the B(itching)H(aters)ofDL aren't that naive, surely ?

Doubt it's a serious bid, just getting a marker in, and letting Kane know who wanted him first. Might also sow a seed, to be harvested later when he doesn't get the dough his agent wants. In fact if I was Kane's agent I might even suggest to Utd that they do it!

The way it's worded it suggests Harry turned down the £40m and the move which clearly isn't the protocol, seeing as no-one with a "Management" badge was consulted on that basis.

Gawd, all it means is that Kane's happy for the time being, but if we still maintain our fifth place position over the next few years, he'll probably review the situation. Roughly translated, it means "good news".
