Very excited about the lack of information on Isco. That's as good as Done for me.
I havent heard anything about us signing Messi either... OMG COULD IT BE TRUE!?

What worries me is the amount that seemingly needs to be done and the quantity we may need in. All seems like too much activity needs to be done in 2 days. With Clinton, Nkoudou, Mason, Son, getting a midfielder in plus maybe another attacking player etc.

Tbf though a lot of those players were told ages ago they would be getting very little game time with us. It's only now that poch is selecting youth team players ahead of them, that they have finally accepted it.
The problem seems to have been some of the players not wanting to leave and only now realising they probably need to - this has pushed everything back (at no fault of the club) - as others have said you can't force people to leave the club.
So it really looks as though Mason is going to leave.
I wonder whether Poch would welcome him back into the fold if no move materialises?
It's most definitely partly the clubs fault, with it being too late to bring in replacements, it's now suicidal to let our squad players go. We're on course to end the window arguably weaker than when it 1st opened.
Is he any good though? If Mason and Caroll leaves, we should be signing a CM... which I hope might be Bazoer since he is ready to quit Ajax.
People need to get out of the mind set that any deals done in the next 36 hours have only just started, they would have been begun weeks ago. My comment on the Net spend debate is, its not the transfer fees its the salaries wanted by agents and players that are often deal breakers. In most cases a £40m player will be north of 70K per week and probably close to £100k

The club can't bring in players when there are players using up spaces in the squad that won't leave - what if they bought 2 or 3 in and the likes of Chadli, Mason, etc. all refused to leave - then you are stuck with an expensive and bloated squad full of players taking up cash and space.

£70k plus for a £40m player is to be expected. Seriously, we can't be of the mindset that any player costing a hefty fee is going to settle for mediocre wages.
But the trade off is they need to finish the race, not be dead on their feet when it really matters.See my post above, lets see what happens in the next 2 days . Poch has stated many times he prefers working with a smaller squad, how many times have people moaned on here about the form of players who only get a few minutes/games, but they still expect them to hit the ground running?
Jim White is presenting talkshite tomorrow at 10am. And full time from next week.
