If he has commissioned Levy to spend what he wants to go for the title then why would we be entertaining any bid for Bale? Doesn't add up. It would imply we don't need the money - So keep him.
Some bids are just too good to turn down hence us demanding £100 mill and not a penny less.

£100 mill is crazy money for Bale and I can't see how any team could turn that down regardless of financial situation

Cor, that Goat is a right saucy tartlet.

Put a smile on my face to make up for the missus having to go back into hospital for the 2nd time in a week.

Henry James "Harry" Redknapp

I remember some ITK about Redknapp and Big Joe Lewis falling out big time.

As for the Goat's new ITK, it could be confirmation of the earlier American ITK that Lewis has provided a £50 million interest free loan, for which the collateral is effectively the future sale of Gareth Bale.

Bale is an asset worth, say £100 million, which secures Lewis' cash.

If we can buy players at market price now, then there is no distortion in the prices we're being quoted from our having banked any Bale transfer fee. This makes perfect financial sense.

And the kicker is that if we have a hugely successful 2013-14 with all our new players, and Bale decides to stay and play CL football for Spurs in 2014-15, then our increased revenues / TV money may fund a lot of that loan.

It's a Win - Win for us as Spurs fans.

I think that something's been misinterpreted, LLM said our physio team wasn't great but had praise for our medical team IIRC.

Tbh its one team they all work together.

I did see this info from LLM and i didnt say anthing at the time as i thought it was a throw away remark. But now people are keep referencing it and keep bringing up the info i cant stand by i had to speak up. Tbh it is not true.

And as another poster already said our Club doctor Shabaaz was the one that took control and lead the CPR and Resus on the pitch and the fan was just advising as he saw the doctors where doing everything possible and had the pads ready.

if we are to continue the spending champ manager stylee. then i would think that we would go after the 2 from Ajax, as they are comfortable on the ball, champions league experience, fit the right age remit and mostly because they only have a year left on their contracts.

Great news on Lewis if true. He is the 290th richest man in the world, worth approx $3.8bn. That's 2.4 thousand million pounds.

Half a billion will do Joe.
