Winksy is going to the world cup.

My preseason predictions was him being named in the initial larger squad but not taken as Southgate decides to take Wilshere instead. With all the talk this week of Wilshere and England, you really wouldn't bet against it happening!

Wish Rashford would realise he doesn't have to dribble every time too.

There is very little difference in the quality of decision/actions between this bunch of forwards and England's development (U20's etc) it's all poor control, lack of composure, head down trundling.

No other player in the running like winksy, though, which is greatly in his favour. He gets so tuned into a game and becomes the heart of the rhythm of the team.

Watched the game the other day and this one so far and I still can't work out if Rashford is a good player or not. Seems to rarely make the right decision.

He's a good player, but he's only 19. The decision making will hopefully come in time.

It's like you haven't watched how turgid Dier has been for England lately? England have played three or four of the worst games I've seen, ever, with Dier plodding around in there. Honestly, if he wasn't a Spurs player you (and the others saying the same) would be slaughtering Dier and wouldn't want him anywhere near this team. Unless you used to praise Phil Jones's England CM performances too ?

Against a team like this, England don't need the kind plodding risk aversion Dier brings. I don't overly rate Henderson, but there's nothing he does worse than Dier in the context of a game like this and at least he's a bit more dynamic.

He is putting in a shift lots of movement but he must have been watching old Liverpool videos of Gerrard and Alonso, spraying balls around 40, 50 and 60 yards, trouble is not one of them has reached an English player.
