This picture on Sky Sports' website is such a hilariously bad photoshop.
I know that its because he isnt allowed to be involved yet, but stil. That photoshop is hilariously bad.Actually that's from Barca's official website. The reason for the photo shopping is becase Suarez isn't allowed to be involved in such matters due to the bank.
They will not waste the money they got for him like we did with Bale
Apparently it was called the toothan clausedid ajax have a sell on clause?
I am gutted to see the back of another quality footballer to the spanish league. I enjoyed the fact this particular player was an absolute lunatic that and his skill on the pitch made him thoroughly entertaining.
We have been lucky to watch Bale and suarez single handedly drag their team mates into places they didn't belong I'm not seeing a player who can do this for a prem club next season and frankly the league is poorer for it.
I think you are lost - it's the Unpopular Opinion Amnesty thread you'll be wanting
I would be shocked if Barca paid £75m.I think Liverpool have done very well to get 75m for a player who, despite his obvious abilities, was becoming a bit of a liability.
They were good last season whilst he was suspended, so now they'll be that same team with all of those additional players brought in using the Suarez money.
Worrying times.
I'm gonna miss watching him play in the Prem TBH, although it might help us which is good.. Truly brilliant footballer, IMO a genius.
Obviously they'll miss Suarez and yes they will have to incorporate all the new players, but unlike Spurs with Bale they weren't a one man team last season.
I think their new players will have it easier as there is a good existing team there.
I know theres a lot of the summer still to go but I can't see us finishing above them next season.
I think it will be close either way, impossible to say right now though, I'll reserve judgement until the end of the window. It wont help us that much they will still finish above us.
And the player will always miss a team that's playing for him. I was quite impressed by how Bale adapted to RM actually. I'm not sure Suarez could do the same with Messi (every others strikers they brought failed after all)The one-man team thing is such a lazy phrase.
Teams will always miss a player of real quality and I think in the short-term Liverpool will suffer through losing a player of Suarez's ability who was performing at such a high level for them.
If they spend wisely they'll be OK but whether the new signings have Prem experience or not they are not simply going to gel as a team and play to their best straight-away.
I'm very interested to see how Sturridge does now as he thrived under the partnership.
It wont help us that much they will still finish above us.
If you are so certain, perhaps you could put your house, your car, your wife, your kids...everything on Liverpool finishing above Spurs at the bookies and scan in a copy of the bet so we can know you haven't copped out?
