Dunno if it's been mentioned, but SSN this morning are saying that Pochettino's interpreter has confirmed he will not be joining him at Spurs.

Yes, I read that report. Thats why I stated that we have to wait for the new interpreter unless DL had strictly specified that no interpreters will be allowed in his contract.:D

Extract from an interview with Victor Wanyama a few weeks back...

What’s his management style? Does he speak English or use an interpreter in training?
He’s very professional. He has a great philosophy of how to play football, and you can see that in how the team plays. It’s good working under him. He speaks English and we understand the messages he wants to pass on to us. He doesn’t use an interpreter. You know the football message is one that everybody understands - it’s maybe not as difficult as talking in a press conference.

Am I the only one who is a bit surprised that we haven't recived a short interview and some photos yet? They usually get that done instantly.

Think might just go straight on holiday to be honest and then get them done when back

It doesn't even have to be in depth just your standard:

I'm the fucking bollocks, THFC are the fucking bollocks, we're gunna smash it up, watch this space.

Then end with a fist bump and a cheeky wink to the camera. Sorted.

Put simply, I don’t recognise my club anymore. There is no plan, no vision. The whole manager situation has been handled amateurishly and has been a scatter gun approach. "who is the flavour of the month at the moment? Southampton have done ok for them so lets have their manager".

How you get from a experienced proper football manager like Van Gaal to an apprentice work experience kid with an empty cv with one average season behind him proves there is no thinking behind this appointment.

I am disgusted with this choice of manager. Then there are the players, gone are the players that we all felt a real connection with, in are a bunch of mercenaries with no feeling for us or for the club. There is no connection between team and fans. Until there is this 'experiment' is doomed to fail. We needed a proper manager that could command everybody's respect and bring us all together. Instead we have a kid in his 2nd season and a bunch of players for hire that wont look up to him. I for one will not follow this guy. We WILL finish below the 6th place we achieved this season and he WILL be sacked next summer. I hope his end comes quick so we can get a real manager next year. In the meantime I will not watch spurs this season or follow this slow motion car crash that Levy has put us all in, I will pass my season ticket on to some other poor sod. I know most of you feel the same but will continue to follow them, fair play to you. To those who 'believe' in Pochettino, you couldn’t be more wrong but in time you will see your massive error. Hopefully our next manager will show you exactly why this bloke is so wrong for our club. We deserve so much better than this.
Bitching before the guy starts, classy..... Oh and I am feeling a "Disagree" coming.

We as fans need to get behind the club, not this load of tripe.

But does he eat spaghetti though?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...Pochettino-changes-view-on-Europa-League.html

Says Levy will tell Poch to take the Europa League seriously as they know it could be our better chance at getting CL...

I think it will be too. Top 4 looks a bit too much for us at the moment, unless Poch is a revelation. I'd rather he build slowly and get his style in place first. I reckon we'll end up around the same place by the end of next season, but hope that we can win the Europa. It is possible with the team we have. Would be amazing to qualify for the CL and win a cup at the same time.

The thing is, we were last season in title challenging form against the teams minus top 4

Us
Wins 21 Draws 5 Losses 4

Arsenal
Wins 23 Draws 4 Losses 3

Liverpool(minus top 4 including Everton)
Wins 24 Draws 4 Losses 2

Man City(minus top 4 including Everton)
Wins 23 Draws 4 Losses 3

Chelsea
Wins 20 Draws 5 Losses 5

We had two guys who struggled to get our team playing and yet we were similar to the title challengers.

All we need is to have a manager that will improve this record against the top 4
Wins 0 Draws 1 Losses 7

no point comparing its only going to make us depressed

However if Poch has any improvement we will be in the top 4 race, all I expect from poch is some improvement after two seasons otherwise my respect for sherwood may increase:eek:
I just don't want to know now, I just want the season to start and get it over with
