I would not be surprised if Poch went along looking for some praise and advice, but ended up with an earful of shit from Fergie trying to tempt him to consider United at some point in the future. There's no way he would pass up an opportunity to weasel something like that.

I'm not sure Ed Woodward or Avram and Joel Glazer listen to Fergie anymore - not after he recommended David Moyes as his own successor.

It'd be interesting istening to their converseation.
Bloody hell, with posts like this you are a journalists wet dream
Sorry if it seems like an overreaction, but I'm the type of bloke who gets very suspicious very easily. (No, I'm not paranoid, before anyone mentions it.)

Be more worried if it was Woodward....

Badly timed, but nothing in it. Top manager meeting another top manager.

It was probably a 'test the water' kind of meeting on both sides. Although the club say they knew about it, I'd be very surprised if there was no discussion of Poch's future. Most likely will come to nothing, but it wouldn't be a total surprise if moves were being made.
Hey look, if he wants to go, he'd better go. Hopefully he won't, but if he does, the club will survive as we always do.

Expect the new contract announced on the OS tomorrow.

Poch is man of his word, he's a gaucho, an old fashioned man's man. He's given Levy his word, that's good enough for me.

Stop panicking people. A lunch meeting with Fergie doesn't mean he's off to ManU. Even if Fergie was sounding him out I'm sure Poch told him he was flattered but he's committed to Spurs. They haven't even got CL ffs. He's not going anywhere this summer.

People are so stupid, if someone really wants to tap someone up you do know they'd do it over the phone ffs. This idea of secret meetings in public places is just complete Fantasy bollocks :ROFLMAO:

Totally take on all the ITK saying this was nothing but still don't trust Ol'Red Nose as far as I can throw him.... he wanted to speak to Poch about the Man U job and the rest is window dressing IMO.

Why else would Perez be there....

That being said, I trust Poch. The sooner this contract is sorted the better, just hope there's no Man U release clause

All those saying there is nothing in this should remember us and one Juande Ramos.

I'm not saying this is the same. But we have had our fingers burnt doing the same thing in the past. The sooner her signs the contract the better. And again I think this was a poor judgement call by Poch. No matter how Innocent it could turn out to be.

Worth noting UTD have a London Head Office.. if Poch was meeting about replacing Van Gal wouldn't it make more sense for the meeting to happen there than in a restaurant well known to be frequented by agents & in full view of the public

This was a mutual admiration lunch. Nothing else. But Poch used it to get Fergie's opinion and backing against the unprofessional behaviour by managers and players saying they wanted Leicester to win, putting the integrity of the PL under question.I think there is one United player we're interested in too. Poch wanted Fergie's insight into that player's personality. United happy to see the player leave.

This sounds suspiciously ITKish. Is this opinion or do you have privileged insight? REVEAL YOURSELF!
