Redknapp revealed he had concerns about the home support's reaction to Crouch after his red card in Tuesday's 4-0 Champions League loss at Real Madrid.
But the Spurs boss said: "Full credit to the fans today, they were fantastic.

And im fed up of hearing the "2 points from 8 games", but its true. We went from relegation candidates under Ramos to champions league in 1.5 seasons - how many clubs have done this?

We were relegation candidates for a few weeks, not a long term relegation team like eg Blackpool, Wigan, etc.

I want Redknapp out because I believe he doesn't know what to do next and has reached the limit of his abilities, which were thought by most Spurs fans to be pretty poor before he joined us.

I don't want him out because I want CL football, etc - I want him out because I believe he is going to cause us long-term damage and will waste the patient long-term rebuilding of our team. Because he's wasting money on players with short-term shelf-life and dubious quality for reasons like "character". Because all itk has suggested he has no plan or long-term interest in Spurs - just self-promotion and the England job - we are a means to his ends. He nearly left for Dubai at the end of last season - we should have clubbed together to pay his fare.

He has capped this by referring to Spurs as "they" and insulted a proportion of Spurs fans (regardless of whether you believe they are a vocal minority or not). The man has no morals, scruples or dignity. Matched only by his inept, incompetent coaching team - Bond, Sherwood, etc indeed - you can really see any of the top 5 saying "Yes we need these people to advance our chase for trophies". The Chelsea rumours are drivel from his media cronies, trying to get him some breathing space.

Football supporters are surprisingly sensitive aren't they?

Such an out-pouring of angst has not been witnessed since Boyzone announced they would be splitting up.

I've seen an awful lot of those pissing and moaning about Harry calling SOME supporters idiots, calling Harry and our players much, much worse than that over the past five years.

Just sayin'

Harry Redknapp is a media addict. He has no recollection that he himself uses the radio (talKsport) to promote himself...unbelievable character is Arry, could you seriously trust him as a mate.

If Mr Reddnapp has called the spurs fans "IDIOTS" who by the way pay his wages this is gross misconduct and Levy should sack him now.

This board is slowly but surely becoming so pathetic with all these Harry out campaigns.

if i wasn't a Spurs fan i'd take completely pleasure in watching them fail each and every time just so i could read the idiotic postings of these Neanderthals.

literally 3 years ago we was mid-table floaters, sometimes punching above our weight in clinching 5th, other times and most of the time lucky to finish top half of table.

fucking pathetic all this nonsense.

And if I were mean I would unbold your actual quote and instead bold the bit where Redknapp "revealed he had concerns about the home supports reaction."

So, basically he told the reporter that he expected us to be idiots. But we weren't so we're "fantastic". I guess.

Seeing as how I've heard some who are happy and like Rdknapp, which ones are you talking about - or are fans who ring in "idiots" regardless of opinions?

If the question was put to him as "what do you say about fans who have voiced their concern at the team's recent results" or words that imply only that, then there's only one idiot on show here.

How the man could possibly think that 1 win in a run of 13 games that's included playing ALL of the bottom 4 (2 at home) isn't disappointing is beyond me!!

Whose wages?
'Arry
The money they get comes from the fans doesn't it?
Can you show a breakdown of income vs expenditure that shows that "the fans" pay his wages please?

I don't mean to pick on you in particular, I'm just bored shitless of this whole "We pay his wages" bollocks whenever a player or member of staff at THFC PLC has a bitch in the press about their employer.

First of all, none of us know how the funds received are allocated.

Second of all, the money given to THFC PLC is done on a purely voluntary basis.

Third of all, it seems that only football sees this, "We pay your wages" bollocks. I bet not many of those complaining about 'arry talking about some of the fans have bitched and moaned at Mark Zuckerberg for calling each individual user of Facebook a moron claiming to "pay his wages", or bitched at Tesco when their staff have spoken of the "idiot" customers they get justifying it with the mantra of "We pay your wages".

Seriously, can anybody think of any scenario other than football where the incessant bitching, moaning and abuse is justified with "we pay his wages"?

May-be some of the 'idiots' actually set-up d.d's to Harry?

Tax-deductable, no doubt:wink:
