5 - 1 spurs

If we dont win we may as well kiss our CL chances goodbye. Infact just give up football and start again in the conferences or is it rymans.

Happy that Winks has got a chance to start. Though slightly frustrated that Onomah is being played in the CAM3 rather than replacing one of the 2 CMs in the second half.

Would have also liked to have seen KWP get a start, hopefully he will see minutes at some point.

It would also be nice to get Edwards and or Miller on the pitch during the game while we still have a strong-ish/more experienced attacking unit out...

would like to see a Winks-Wanyama-Onomah midfield, Eriksen and Lamela on the wings...

Hope Wimmer isn't too bad, especially with Jan's injury. We might be a bit short at CB.

hope walkes does well as he gets an unfair amount of stick by youth watchers. i prefer him to ball tbh, he's a little quicker and less jittery with the ball at his feet. he's quite safety-first so i'd expect him to just clear his lines rather than tying himself in knots trying to play out when under pressure.

I think the issue with whenever I have seen him is that he gets shifted all over the place to positions that don't suit him... If you're not completely familiar with a player then watching them in those circumstances is going to lead to a less than favourable view. Pretty sure he was utilised at as a CAM a couple of times when I watched last year, and he didnt have the attributes to play there... although he still popped up in intelligent positions...

yeah he played #10 for a lot of the season and wide left a couple of times. that was hardly his fault though and he did his best there, since moving to cb he's been solid and i imagine youth watchers would have a slightly more favourable view of him if they'd only seen him there rather than high up the pitch where he was like a fish out of water. even someone like toby as good as he is would look a bit rubbish playing the eriksen/alli roles so i think walkes should be cut some slack.

Like the look of this team. Yedlin, Walkes, Winks and Onomah clearly being rewarded for their good performances v Juve, Janssen gets to play with Lamela and Eriksen, I like it.
