So much of Eriksen's work goes unnoticed and unappreciated. A moment there when he picked up the ball under pressure then a great first touch, a little drop of the shoulder and within a couple of paces, he'd created a yard for himself and two passing options.

Wanyama is going to be one of the steals of the summer.

Josh looks a lot shaper and stronger to me so far. Winks looks decent, as does Yedlin.

Hit the woodwork twice so far but good start Spurs

Hit the woodwork twice. All over Madrid in patches. Yedlin looks vastly improved - could be a genuine contender as back up to Rose. Wanyama looks like a perfect player for our midfield.
