Soldado has to start at some point. It's all about squad rotation. We don't want a demotivated player, lacking any kind of sharpness if Kane picks up an injury. Poch needs to show he has some trust in Soldado or he will lose even more confidence.

Yeah I get that, however he hasn't shown much faith of late. To show it now in a MASSIVE game like this would be brave. I personally think he's a top player and it may just suddenly 'click'. But I've though that for the last 18 months.

Personally would have had it in mind to start him next week. We'll see.
