Anyone know why we are kicking off at 3.06? Is it to allow for TV coverage?

Edit: TV coverage makes no difference as it is Sunday and not Saturday. I've lost a day and now gutted it's work tomorrow.. ?

Usually a decent indication of next weeks starting XI

Kind of pleased it has no Toby or Eriksen. They don’t want to be at the club long term, look forward to lots of splinters in the arse this coming season lads. Obviously much preferable that Eriksen goes but we shall see.

Not so pleased if it’s a diamond. Hate that formation personally but we do have a new option in that system with Tanguy so will be interesting to see how it goes. Quite a flexible line up.

Toby and CE will start next week... and will start every game if they stay... and so it should be. A contract is a contract and youre contracted for that length and nothing else. Theyre not acting like Pogba lets put it that way

I see your point but as long as they dont kick up a fuss and start downing tools etc then im fine with them playing all season

This seems unnecessarily mean spirited. Both players have given us the best part of their careers, and as we speak both are still Spurs players who are first choice picks in their positions. They might leave or might stay, but I'm 100% behind both of them, and respect both as players and people.

Hold that thought until Friday mate I still think another couple will come in coys.

I really appreciate your sensible response and I really hope your right as we are going into this season with our best defender and best attacking mid walking away free at end of year. So what incentive do they have to preform. Its absolutely crazy. Not to mention Rose and Verts contracts, all four are our key players.

Really underwhelmed with that line up heading into the new season.

I know Son suspended and Eriksen / Toby futures up in the air, but we actually look weaker than last season.

So players not in squad so seemingly not fit for selection already piling up:

Aurier
Foyth
Dier
Wanyama
Dele

Sort of true but the players will be better conditioned
