People claim Eriksen and Mason have both been crap ... but you can't dominate a team like ManC with 2 crap MF. Spurs have totally dominated the game, could/should have scored 4-5-6 golas....but could easily have let in 3-4 goals as well.

Passing is a bit sloppy at times but we are playing well. If only we could get our headers on target. Just got hit with a sucker punch.

rose best player on the pitch. Kane and Lamela trying. Eriksen and chadli not involved but no doubt one will score, so we forget their poor performance.

kane actually grew in confidence after that shot on the turn, holding up the ball , and jinking around, somethin i haven't seen of late where alot of his play has been too predictable.

annoying because this is the poorest shiteh team we have played in a while and could/should beat them.

still, 45 mins to go and this game has potential to turn into a cracker.

Thought Chadli, Eriksen and Lamela were all good, especially right from the beginning. Chadli has been very solid IMO. Eriksen playing a lot better than recent weeks and same with Lamela. Kane having an OK game, getting some good chances but should be burying them.

Mason, well i think should come off maybe at HT or around 60 mins or so for Stambouli (maybe Paulinho)

I'd be tempted to hook Eriksen (anonymous) for Soldado to play behind Kane and Mason (currently having an absolute cheese-nightmare out there) for Palulinho or Stambouli...

I like this plan a lot. I wouldn't play Paulinho in this one, but I like Stambouli in there to provide a bit more solidity to the middle. We're getting forward enough, so I don't think Mason's more forward drive is crucial so far in this one.

Been quiet at times, but has been playing much better.

The problem with Mason is that he isn't really a creative midfielder. For all the talk of how great his transition passing is, how many clear cut chances can you recall him creating in the last 3 months? How many quick transition attacks can you recall his passing leading to in recent matches? When you couple in the fact that he isn't a particularly great athlete, nor does he have the physicality to be a great defensive shield in a CM2, he's going to struggle to hold that place in the first 11 after this season if Poch wants to meet expectations.

This. I like Mason but his energy makes him a good sub for me, not more at the minute. Bentaleb (Alli) and Schneiderlin/ Milner (Mason) would fill me with confidence

Hart did excellently to close Mason down, give how close it was there wasn't that much more he could do.

He's low on confidence but the ability is there (like a number of our players).
