Tottenham Vs Monaco: Match Thread

So Monaco's average attendance is 11k and they're going to be playing infront of 90k tonight. Most are used to playing infront of big crowds but hopefully a few will be rabbit in headlights.

I'm still not sure if the bigger pitch will be good for us (with our better fitness) or worse for us (harder to apply press). Think I'm going with the increased chances for interceptions as the ball will be travelling further between each defender.

Buzzing for tonight, can't wait to see Wembley Way drowned in white.

There's a thread somewhere here about how shite it was being a spurs fan for about 10/15 years. You hardly ever saw our colours when out and about, but plenty of red and blue. So it's pretty cool when I'm walking about Soho at lunchtime in my Spurs shirt and hearing people shouting "Yido!" at you.

We're strong in this city, we've just gotten used to not shouting about it.

Not quite the same but I go to Virgin Active at Moorgate. In the evenings' there a re a few chums wearing spurs shirts. On Saturday when we scored you saw a few people are the gym celebrating and you can tell who else is listening on the radio.

Really love walking over in between sets to have a chat with these guys, makes you proud to be spurs.

I bought the away shirt yesterday, moments before receiving the email from the Club saying wear white...

Did exactly the same but after years saying it I finally listened to my dear mother and kept the receipt. I think I still slightly prefer the blue kit this year though. It was good to see that quite a few Spurs shirts had been sold since yesterday as well (Stratford Westfield).
