Agreed.

We play Sunderland at home. Sunderland are absolute shite. Horrific team. There is EVERY reason to rest Kane this weekend and give Janssen a start.

Kane should not be starting.

He was poor. No idea how he stayed on the pitch. Manager kept him on and changed the shape of the team making us less effective. Poch takes as much of the blame.

Kane needs to be rested on the weekend and dier too for wanyama, what exactly has dier done this season to warrant starting over wanyama?? Vertonghen out too for me, slows everything down and can't defend.
Agree, Dier has been so poor and verts also backing off all the time every tackle is a last ditch effort Wimmer partnered Toby better imo. Kane could do with being rested as much as I think Janssen could use a start.

There was one moment in the first half: Dele set Kane up with a through ball and Harry was done for pace by Kamil Glik of all people! Harry made Kamil look like Usain Bolt! That told me everything: he is out of form and should be rested...

Against Sunderland I'd prefer:

Lloris
Walker Toby Wimmer Rose
Dembele Wanyama
Sissoko Dele Son
Janssen

And fuck the consequences.

If you'd have told me that we'd have 63% possession and they'd have two shots on target I'd assume there's only one winner.

Unfortunately both of their shots hit the back of the net ffs :banghead:

You gotta love being a Spurs fan

Yep did you see Vardy tonight, pace, pace, pace.
The biggest problem with Kane at the moment is not a lack of pace - he never had any. He seems to have lost that demon shot of his. When he first broke into the team he was shifting the ball then nine times out of ten sending a rasping bullet of a shot flying at the goal. These days he shifts the ball then scuffs it. It was exactly the same for England. How can a player with such a fearsome strike suddenly lose it overnight? Poor coaching?

From the BBC:

Despite defeat, it will have been a profitable evening for the north London club with the crowd being the highest home attendance for an English club.

No doubt our Chairman will be going home tonight with the bigger smile of the two.
