Is Adebayor a big enough name for the MLS?

I mean obviously he's a high profile striker from one of the top leagues in Europa and likely to be one of the better players in the league if he went there but I mean would he be seen as a true major star like say Henry was when he went out there and as such would owners be willing to splash the cash on him and bend rules to pay his demands

I'm not sure if he would want to go to MLS at this stage of his career either
After his absrdly good form last year being shown on tv every game last year due to the NBC contract, I am sure it would be a huge signing. Plus, its not like they need an Henry type name. They already have Lampard and Villa as DP's. They might go back in for Xavi as the 3rd DP, though.

Orlando City could also go in for him. They only have Kaka so far.

Also, as for if he would come over to the states, money talks. And one thibg the MLS is good at is ensuring that their owners have a ton of cash they are willing to invest in their clubs.

Of course, this is all meaningless as knowing Harry, he'll be all over Ade sooner or later

True or not, I will be so happy when he finally leaves the club. Just in the way of others and earns money for two good players. Get rid.

(Will most likely start tomorrow)

‘I think we’re not weak but I didn’t hear this. I think we think differently about this,’ said Dembele. ‘Every team has some weaknesses and we have our own things to think about.

‘We need to be ready quicker, from the first minute. We did it in the first half and then in the second half we didn’t expect them (Asteras) to come at us.

‘We were too relaxed and this cannot happen again. We need to speak about it.

‘Personally there are some reasons why in the second half we didn’t do so well but we will talk with the team about it. A lot of people have their opinion so we will talk internally.

‘We were surprised by them. It can’t happen again because we could have ended up drawing or losing.

‘We need to learn that even when we’re 2-0 up it’s not over yet. That’s the lesson.’

Fucking hell. Dembele comes out with such shit sometimes. First it was the pitch thing last year and now denying we have a mentality problem. Everyone knows we does. I hope he's just saying it in an interview but knows it's not true. If this really is the opinion of our players, we're in deep shit and it sums them up.

He is already admitting that he was taking it easy after a 2-0 and turned off. Fuck sake, sign Joey Barton to kick some of our players in their fucking ass.

You think the only way to sort our players menatility out is some Ousmae Dabo treatment?

When was the last time we scored an early goal?

The first 15 minutes will tell us how the match is going to go

Adebayor not travelling midweek points to him starting tomorrow. I expect Poch to play the same team as against Villa, but swap Soldado for Kane.

Huh? He's not denying it. He's describing it. Pretty accurately, too.

Read the quotes, not the headline.

Levy must have seen the game he played against Manchester United. That was his million dollar performance.
I have not seen this guy do anything noteworthy for THFC. I am sure he has scored a goal or two but his complete cowardice is how I will remember him when he leaves this club.

Finally a moment where we agree. People say Paulinho has done nothing but if that's true, then there are no words to describe Dembele's contributions.
