No Vlad either, let's hope no central defence injuries otherwise it's Capoue at CB lol

Put it like this, if we can't beat Sunderland at home, who are going 4-4-2 which will open it up. we've no business talking about the top four. Yes I know its not likely, but if we want to be in the race at least.

Must win today given the amount of points we've already chucked at home.

They aren't going 4-4-2. I'm pretty sure they're playing 5 at the back.

Dembele could be key today, if Stambuoli deals with the mopping up defensively then Dembele must move the ball forwards quickly. For all his dribbling and managing to hold on to the ball this is something that really needs to be coached into him. He must see this is why Mason starts in front of him when fit.

Agreed. I'm buzzing for this match, cannot and will not accept anything but a home victory. Every season contains a few matches which we simply *must* win, and this is one of them.

They're back 3 is apalling, only Rodwell in their midfield is defensive minded. Got to be positive.

Good pro active line up. Clearly looking for the 3 points today. Nice to see us playing two up top against a side battling against relegation, rather than one up top which we've done so many times in recent seasons.

Larson and Johnson in midfield to.....lightweight.

Midfield there for the taking, those are not players, in those positions, you would select to park the bus. We need to get right after them.

I think we are going to line-up like this.

Lloris

Walker Dier Vertonghen Rose

Dembélé Stambouli

Eriksen Kane Chadli

Soldado
maybe - I think I prefer Soldado behind Kane though.

Both have good ideas on attack, but Kane is a better finisher right now. Soldado putting Kane through, makes me feel better than Kane putting Soldado through - and I think Eriksen is less effective on the right than he is centrally or on the left.

Yep, big game for Eric. He is very skilful and supposedly the fastest guy at the club  so he has it in him to properly challenge Fazio.
