maybe - I think I prefer Soldado behind Kane though.

Both have good ideas on attack, but Kane is a better finisher right now. Soldado putting Kane through, makes me feel better than Kane putting Soldado through - and I think Eriksen is less effective on the right than he is centrally or on the left.

I don't think Eriksen, Chadli and Kane will be locked into their positions.

just had a look at thr foul stats, Cattermole isnt even the highest for Sunderland

Connor Wickham has committed 36 fouls, to Cattermole's 32. Lamela tops ours on 34 with Rose next on 26

Mason is down on 12 with 4 yellows!

Bloody hell that's really bad, considering the lack of playing time he's had in comparison to others.

I don't think it is important who plays behind or in front of who, they will drift in and out and swap positions all the time. I do say this every time he starts in PL, but I do hope Soldado scores today.

Funny Townsend isnt in the lineup, i thought he had an excellent game and showed a good understanding with Bobby in the last match

Like the line up.
Please bobby, get a goal today.
Happy to see Dier playing instead of Kaboul also.

Wow, now that is an attacking line up, good to see.

Score will be 9-3 (Soldado*3, Kane*3,Eriksen/Chadli*3) (Defoe*3)

Dam, great lineup! Will be good to see Dier get a chance at CB, and 2 up front (or 2 striker types anyway) is the way to go against these types of teams at home

My only disappointment is there's no youngsters on the bench against such weak opposition. Would like Onomah and or Winks there and given some match time we we're comfortably in front.

Yep, big game for Eric. He is very skilful and supposedly the fastest guy at the club  so he has it in him to properly challenge Fazio.

Hope he has a good game today, so he can establish himself as next in line CB to verts and fazio because I don't want to see Kaboul or vlad played at CB again

I'm strangely confident we'll win this comfortably, 6:2 or something like that. Bob with a brace.

May be the magic herbs side effects though.

'Weak opposition' - this sort of comment comes up every week. There is no such thing as weak opposition in the PL- I think we'll probably struggle today, as we do every time we play so-called 'weak' teams.
